Still, in the first half, Mutch created 2 great chances for Kenwyne Jones. Mutch was then instrumental in the build up for Caulker's second. His first corner was a great bit of quick thinking to pick Kim out, who's shot was saved for another corner. The second corner, Mutch picked out Campbell, who's effort was blocked for another corner. Then the third corner, Mutch saw Caulker and Campbell unmarked at the back post and hit a lovely, lofted, wedge to put it on a plate for Caulker to finish. To finish off, who got on the end of the Noone's cross for our third goal? That's right, Mutch again!
Mutch wasn't as involved as normal, but when he was involved, we created and scored. Mutch was the difference between us winning and not winning Saturday. Yet people who don't know the game criticise him in this thread thinking he was poor. Wake up!

the only reason you like him is because the fist bought him, as highlighted in your first line. You are a very weird boy.

He was a good signing by Malky but you dont have to go OTT just to have a bit of praise for Malky.
His general performance in my opinion was well below his usual and I certainly dont think he was the diference although he has been in many a game.

To me it looks like you are debating the stats, which is fair enough. Seems to be a lot of static positioning safe play and 4 key passes, at least one of them you mentioned.

Im assuming these stats dont count for the number of runs he made and lost the ball when he had a better oppotunity to pass. He certainly can be an england international but to get noticed I think he needs to chip in with more goals as well as get more consistant.

People are agreeing with me in this thread. I haven't said Mutch had a sensational game, I've just said although Mutch wasn't involved as much as usual, he definitely didn't have a poor game as he created chances and was involved with our second and third goals. You seem too thick to grasp that and you still haven't explained why you think Mutch was "average at best". You can't seem to back up anything you say with facts, so you are impossible to rationally debate with. Nevermind.
