Fantastic Gesture By Club To Appease Fans ?

I might be mistaken but did I read somewhere that a Premiers Club can, with approval, decide to change its home colours for one fixture? If so, wouldn't it be brilliant if we played in Blue against Liverpool. The thought of watching up play them with our players in red is too awful to think about. What s the chances of being in Blue for the 'Pool ?

I think the rule is, the last HOME game of the season a club can apply to the premier league to play in the following seasons home kit, so if next years kit is red shirts, pink shorts, and green stockings the club could apply to the league to wear this kit against Chelsea.
But as we are always the last to show next years kit, there is no fear of us turning out against Chelsea in those colours.
