ok, reverse the question.

If you had a child with some sort of issue, would you attempt to get a blue/red thread launched on the back of it?.

I was going to say wife, but then divorcing your partner is far too easy nowadays.

I haven't. My point is though people are saying "it just isn't the same since we turned red" etc. So I was trying to use hyperbole and metaphor to try and draw a comparison. You wouldn't give up on your kids etc just because their appearance changed, why would you give up on the club for the same reason?

It's an extreme example, but does have relevance.

I think in most situations you would do all you can to keep normality for the child, and fight for fair treatment if they ever face any adversity.

I, like most, still go to games, but I always wear blue, like I always have done, which is the attempt at a return to normality and a slap in the face of the controversial owner.

Makes sense in my head! Hope I explained that well enough!!

Yeah, i understand. My point is though why should you love it any less because it looks different?

If your kid got a tattoo in a prominent place that was always on display and you disagreed with what it said or depicted would you just accept it or try to get them to have it removed?

I would reason with him and discuss it with him in order to try and get him to remove it but at the end of the day if he was old enough its his decision. But I definitely wouldn't boo him every time he came through the front door ;) !

Good point. Tan is the problem. He won't discuss, reason or be open to changing his mind so some people resort to booing as the only way open to them of communicating their feelings.

Such a ridiculous comparison. I took it on face value because I didn't think anyone would compare Cardiff's choice of rebranding to an innocent disfigured child.

Ok, let's do Shakespear... "A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet"
Let's go dutch...... Carrots used to be purple, its changed colour but its still a carrot.

Its still Cardiff City!

I lost respect for anything you say after you told people that God would look down on people who opposed the rebrand.

I heard from a reliable source the reason David Icke no longer believes in god is because of that ridiculous claim from Natman.

This hypothetical question can only be aimed at the fans that have boycotted the team (i.e disowning the disfigured child).
No one is saying stop supporting City (loving the child). You can still support City wearing blue. You don’t have to wear red.
But, you can hate Tan for changing the colour (the person that disfigured the child).

In this hypothetical scenario, the people who wear red are basically still loving their disfigured child but at the same time telling the evil man who disfigured your child “Hey don’t worry about it, it’s fine, I don’t really care! Why don’t you come round my house and I’ll cook you a slap up meal, and because we’re such good buddies you can even sleep with my wife.”
