I wonder if a British Prime Minister would be allowed...

Sun Mar 09, 2014 1:19 am

To watch a football game when a Passenger Plane which has taken off from his country disappears?

What should he do?

I am pretty sure he will be kept up-to-date and will "do the right thing" as and when the time is right

In the meantime, he must be seen to be carrying out his business "as usual" in order to retain an element of normality in his country

The fact that his business brought him to Cardiff was no more than a coincidence of timing and, as 2blue2handle says: "What should he do?" :?

This is a 'possible' terrorist attack on his country yet hes watches a football game.

Surely being seen to be in control of a situation goes along way with the general public.

If this was a British Prime Minister then they would have been on the next flight back home to be with the families and different authorities asap!! and if not the public would want their blood!!!

No its amid at the Malaysian Prime Minister who was guest of honour at the game yesterday which started just hours after a 'possible' terrorist attack on his own country!!!

good point, its seen as insensitive when a representative of you're country has a jolly up the day of a national tragedy. The OP is right suggesting Dave C has enough PR people to be advised on being tactful.

Well something isn't right then because if he was here all day yesterday until the end of the game there is no way he would have been there on the 8th which is yesterday simply because of the time difference

Tun Mahathir, who was guest of Vincent Tan yesterday, is the ex-Malaysian Prime Minister. He was in power until 2003.

Well that puts a completely different perspective on it then because people were saying on here that Tan was entertaining the Malaysian Prime Minister and if their information is incorrect then I can only apologise for creating this thread

If Cameron doesn't know the price of a pint of milk it is a national scandal. Tbh off the top off my head I don't know it, why? because I don't care I just put it in the basket. It was funny as hardly any ended up knowing it.

Our country is a first world country that is shockingly materialisitc. Opposition voters and media will do anything to get a bit more disposable income. My co workers don't understand any policies of labour, they just vote for them because they'll get more money. That is all it comes down to.

If you remember president bush was visiting a school when he was told about the twin towers and continued his visit as if nothing had happened.
Anyway the Malaysian prime minister most probably was witnessing a bigger disaster that we know as Tan's fashion sense.
