' Get behind your football club '

Sat Mar 08, 2014 10:07 am

We have 10 games to save our season and every game is a massive one from here on in. I challenge all Cardiff City fans and this forum to stop the negativity about our club and channel all our energies into getting behind our manager and players to give them the best opportunity of producing enough positive results to keep us in the Premier League.

The time for judgement on our club is the end of the season but for now lets give it our all to get behind our club and I'm sure our players will respond. If it doesn't work well at least as fans we can say we gave it our all. Make some noise and support the boys :ayatollah:

Ian, he asked for a positive sticky, so I said make a topic and we will make it a sticky for u, more than happy to make positive stickies, I was hoping he would make a positive post just about City and rally our fans instead he had a go at our fans and this forum.

If he is so positive, he should himself give us a positive topic to make a sticky, not bitch at our fans

Come on on then lets see a positive topic :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I've always said that as fans our job is to affect what we can affect and in reality that means support the manager and the team.

Right now I have a feeling that we are at the cusp where we will see the difference of OGS and his footballing ethos, score first today and I believe we will go on and win the game. That may just be the catalyst to spark the improvement needed to keep us in this division.

But with Everton and Liverpool next anything less than victory will make it pretty much impossible to remain positive.

Not being negative - just realistic.

its a positive post Annis trying to rally the supporters behind the team. Thanks for making it a sticky for all of 10 minutes :laughing6:. Negative stickies is the way to go I guess but that's not me. Oh well I tried :ayatollah: Criticism of the way this forum does things doesn't seem to go down too well here and so sadly after being on this forum since its inception I Think I will take my leave and stick to just supporting my team. Its been a pleasure conversing with you lads - up the bluebirds - Owain please cancel my account, thanks :ayatollah:

mongrel dogs are more intelligent than pedigree dogs & also are less likely to be victim to illness. Pure thoughts of Cardiff being a well-run club are delusional, could make you very sick in the long-run

Why would you blame them?
Pointless remark to be fair...

Fans pay the money that entitled them to support and comment on the team anyway the seem fit.

Just going back through my old posts and had to have a giggle at this. You posted this after I decided to take s break from this forum. I've been a right miserable sod since leaving CCMB? I have been on this forum since its inception so can't see how you work that one out and for your info I have never left CCMB although I rarely post on there, I am more of a lurker on there nowadays. What's the matter then pal, got your goat have I? So I speak my mind, so fecking what!!! doesn't make me miserable and any one that knows me would tell you I'm the last one anyone would call miserable. Mod power has gone to your head mate :laughing6:

Given that both MB's run down those that are running our club down. I hope the same people don't complain all season long about falling attendaces and our away support.

Negativity breeds negativity.

You want VT out. Don't complain if more and more fans turn their backs on the club. When I go to games I want to see us win and preferably have fans backing the team. If it turns into constant slagging and shirt colour references. I could very easily pick and choose games too.

I am indeed, for a lot longer than you too.

I want a season of success and enjoying my football. The last thing I want is fans putting themselves on a pedestal and making it all about themselves. I enjoy my hard earned cash on watching Cardiff City. I'm not there to listen to abuse and the listening to inane ramblings regarding the colour of a team jersey. You know and I know that we will be playing in red for the season. If anything changes VT's mind it will be the lack of merchandise selling rather than you droning on about the same thing on a mb or within the stadium.

IF that's the case, I'd say it's down to age only. :thumbright: although one would suggest that if you aren't going to go to games because you don't agree with people around you, maybe you aren't as loyal as you like to think.

I want a season of success and enjoying my football. The last thing I want is fans putting themselves on a pedestal and making it all about themselves.

the first part of these 2 sentences is making it all about yourself. :laughing6: :laughing6:

do that then. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

gold star for you. Yes, we will be playing in red this year & hopefully the protests for blue will continue. :bluescarf:
