Oli you so called fans

Thu Mar 06, 2014 11:55 pm

Let's be realistic are you really been serious when you say we are better off with oli rather than malky. Can you honestly say the players he has signed are better equipped to play in the premiere league than what was here already. If you do you don't really understand the game because the first season is about survival and competing not going gung-ho and getting picked off. Your owner has made a major error in judgement and we are going down.i really think that tan reads this forum because he is as blinkered as some of the people on here but that's only my opinion

You might be right but how do you play with half a player?

Tan give the money over and let him in charge. Moody and Malky embarrassed theirselfs with the business.

Everyone including media is so quick to defend Malky because of the ludicrous actions and behavior of Tan without failing to do their research that he blew 50 million and had us hovering over relegation places.

With the money we spent, call me greedy but I expect us to be around 14th pushing around 30 points even better past the 30 point mark.

It's scary how you think Malky could only buy "half a player" with 6 million, despite assembling a complete new squad with only 1.5 million spent in his first season. It's a pretty dull statement to make don't you think?

It’s impossible to tell if we are better off.

What I would say is that in my opinion without a doubt we were heading down under Malky and sinking at a rapid rate so for that reason I’m glad a change was made (altought it took too long to sack him). Is Ole the answer? well form hasn’t improved so it seems to the change has made little difference but im glad we at least tried to change something.

Im guessing you don’t watch our games as I don’t think anyone expected us to go “gung-ho” but we wanted to at least try and win games which we very rarely did. Instead we played extremely defensive but conceded one of the highest amount of goals in the league and hoped for a free kick or corner.

With respect of his signings i’m not sure what you expected in January, the time to fill key positions at left back, right back and especially upfront was at the start of the season when we had a huge budget – These positions despite us struggling last season we not strengthened.
As others have pointed out Malky did well on a small budget but he just couldn’t make the step up sadly and wasted a lot of money.

Also you seem confused as you refer to the club as “we” and later on “your”

City fans should of expected at least 3 match-fit, battle hardened recruitments to have a decent crack at staying up...we got 1 player who was playing top-class football regularly. I agree with Malky done well on tight budgets, but found it more difficult at the higher end of the transfer spectrum

Good question. I think Ledley would of had alot more impact than Eikrem for this season. Tom Ince is much better than Zaha. If we can't compete with Palace then it's dire straits.

I would of brought in Aaron Hughes, an experienced PL CB that moved into Championship football with QPR.

It is difficult to find players in the winter transfer deadline. If Tan wanted to change manager, he needed to back his man, & more than likely pay for overpriced players for the sake of staying up, and buy players that did not move this window. Everyone has a price

Re: Oli you so called fans

whats the point selling-out on our traditions if he's gonna be mean. Fernandez went out in a blaze of financial madness with the QPR relegation and asked his fans nothing in return.

Tan can't be eccentric one minute (rebrand), then be a mizer the rest of the time. Be consistently nuts Tan! Its what the pro-reds should be demanding

I want Tan out, but find it incredible he didn't even deliver what he promised, and I never envisaged that happening. If he succeeded with his evil plans there would be less opposition, but I am of the belief the blue kit is everything. Now he fucked it up for himself for being tight & having no football knowledge at the club. I am being objective in my observation.

I demand it regardless of my opposition to Tan. Its just a double whammy of shite. Its like Judas City fans selling out on Jesus and the kingdom of heaven for just 10 pieces of silver instead of 30.

not so tight budgets either........a lot of the players he signed the 1st season were players who had deliberately run their contracts down.....although there were no transfer fees for these they are not whats traditionally known as free transfers { players surplus to their current club and seen as having no value ].Cowie,Gunner,Conway were all ggered contracts by the clubs they left, just contracts that got nowhere near what we put on the table.
