How can you own a club and not be on the board?

Just wondering. I'm no expert in buisness but tan is the majority shareholder. He owns the football club!!!

Why is he not on the board? Is he not present at board meetings? Who is making the decisions?

Boards of directors run a business on behalf of the shareholders.

Because it's a ltd company he owns all shares ,
legally doesn't have to be on the board /or a director but board is answerable to the shareholder ie tan ,depending on how the company structure is set up tan is covered

And i think they have found him a bit to eccentric to be involved for a day to day basis. I think Dalman starts every conversation
with "Listen, they really dont like it when"..
