Dæhli

Wed Mar 05, 2014 7:32 pm

Czech vs Norway today ended 2-2.

Man of the match : Dæhli

And some says he is not up to PL, they are wrong! Should be used more from start in City.

I find it strange that he turns into a defensive liability when playing for Cardiff when that is not the case with Norway. I don't think the Norwegian left back today (Høgli) is particularly much better than Declan John, though of course, has buckets of experience.

He's barely played for us in the prem. He looked good against Wigan.

Chuck him in from the start and run him into the ground!

If he keeps us up it'll be worth it and if he fails then he may be championship standard by the time we've ruined him anyways :ayatollah:

He certainly looks a good prospect, lets give him time though and not add to much pressure on the lad.

If Fans and Tans Administration failed to give Cornelius - Danish leagues top goal scorer & Danish player of the year - any time I doubt anyone will aleviate pressure on Norways Man of the Match

Czech Republic. With the likes of Rosicky and Cech on the other side.

Thing is you spent 8m and 45k a week on a player after promotion you expect some kind of quality.

Daehli has already shown a lot more than Cornelius who lets be honest looks lost

All of Dæhlis involvements here, put together by norwegian newspaper VG.

I appreciate what you are saying - but his price tag and wages wasnt down to Cornelius - it is down to Copenhagen, His Agent and Malky

Surely anyone with any sense can say that supporting him and having a little patience would have increased the chance of the investment paying off - instead he labelled a flop after coming back from injury, playing 113 minutes of football (mostly in 5-10 minute spells) and was sold for a £10million loss and hes gone back to Denmark and is scoring for fun

Daehli may be showing promise - but anyone who knows anything about football knows that some players settle in better than others and although Daehli looks promising - still no goals or assists at senior level

Dont get me wrong - I think he looks decent enough and I hope the hype becomes a reality but I cannot see people reliving him of pressure - our fans currently expect immediate success afterall..

You cant see footballtickets abroad.

Dæhli, man of the match, was behind the one goal, with his work infront and pass.

He dont feel any pressure, he just loves to play as much as possible.

City must start uting him from start to Get more dangerous in front. Bellemy is also partly toothless today.

Re: Dæhli

and hes gone back to Denmark and is scoring for fun

Had no good attempts last game in the Danish League and got a red card at 80mins.

FCK lost 5-1

He is off course better than than the impression he gave in Premier League, but he is not "scoring for fun" atm, he`s had a decent comeback to FCK.

According to Optas, Dæhli had 58 successful passes out of 63 tries in PL so far, which is a rate of 92 % accuracy. Xavi level, that is. The fact that most his passes go forward, makes it even more impressive. I´m running out of arguments why this lad should not start regularly for Cardiff.
