agree, but its not just the colour although it contributes..........its the move from Ninian park, the huge upturn in ST sales { which has changed the whole atmosphere }..its bans, jail, what happened at Chelsea..........no crack anymore, and if youve served bans been to jail or even hang around with boys who have, your on the radar.......people have mortgages, jobs and families to worry about.......the club has changed beyond recognition and will never go back to those days..........im just glad i was born when i was because i loved it.....

in direct answer..i know some that have returned and some that have not...........

it was a theory of mine back in 2000 that the police were to make a concerted effort to smash hooliganism at our club..
not because we were much worse than some other clubs, but because the FA had hired the Millenium stadium for all sorts of finals, and didnt want our fans mobbed up in the city for these games.
months before the 1st of these games came the 100 faces from the Stoke game away.....
what i have noticed since.......is the percentage of our fans arrested that get bans /jail seems out of sinc with the percentage that get banned at other clubs.........im sure ive seen home office figures on here.......but have seen it 1st hand too..with solicitors confused why football intel officers are at low key cases asking for bans against OUR fans on minor charges, where similar offences have been dealt with re other fans with no such recomendation for a ban..infact no football intel at the court?
most of our fans now realise if you go to games..and you might be viewed as a risk....your gambling a lot..not just a fine...has to be a put off.
