' THE BIGGEST ONE YET '

Tue Mar 04, 2014 7:42 am

Independent

Tues March 4th

Cardiff City host Fulham on Saturday – 19 v 20 – and Cardiff defender Ben Turner admitted that the importance of this game exceeds anything that has gone before this season.

“If those were must-win games,” Turner said, looking back on recent home games with West Ham, Norwich, Aston Villa and Hull, “then our game with Fulham is whatever is more than a must-win.”

Cardiff have won one game this year and Turner knows they need to improve. “We definitely have to have the belief and to win our home games. We have to beat Fulham and then look for four wins after that.”

That could be a blessing in disguise! I don't think Saturday is going to be pretty.

Won't be there, I'll be watching the mighty Ton and Gelli Amateurs V Chirk in the semi final of the Welsh Amateur Cup. Neutral venue in Rhayader, coach load going up, loads of swigging, and talking rubbish. We're the underdogs, but you never know, after knocking the favourites Cardiff Metro out in the quarters, can T and G do it again..

Totally agree Carl, but for me the saddest part is that we have already sold out for Liverpool but as of yet haven't sold out for Fulham. I feel as if a percentage of our fans are more interested in watching the likes of Liverpool etc. than watching Cardiff City. Very sad indeed.

Since then Malky has be replaced and Jol's replacement has been replaced, and we are both bottom two now, it's certainly become a mad old game
