Protest

If under 3000march/protest will it be accepted that the majority reluctantly accept red and Tan? Will this add credence to VTs statement??

Not sure some just can be assed protesting but if you feel that strongly about the re brand like myself, you should turn up and be accounted for

Re: Protest

Tue Mar 04, 2014 4:56 pm

the protests are just poking a rabid dog with a stick..
he is fully aware just by looking around that red has not been accepted, and of course the merchandise sales..
so..there were 2 choices, leave the business man to conclude the rebrand has not worked and then make a level headed business decision.
or get all tough and abusive and make it a point of issue..TAN OUT..ffs ..ive yet to find anyone that explains how that works, its ill thought out as are some of the chants..
Tan ......like ALL businessmen has made mistakes, they are his mistakes and have obviously been rectified by him, but i doubt he has faced being TOLD he is wrong as abusively has he has here.
anyway........what is the point of this protest?
if its to piss him off,and if the protest succeeds to what then?
does he destroy the club.
do the protesters club together 150mill
is there a silent billionaire that we know nothing about yet.
unless the protesters are sure of the answers.........they are as bad as he is.. and dont care what the outcome is

Re: Protest

Anything more than 2500 proves he is wrong but I genuinely believe there are a lot less than 90% backing him, will every single one of them turn up to protest ? I doubt it, as others have said some people are just too lazy. There's 8 of me and my mates that are season ticket holders, every single one of us are against Tan in some shape or form but only 4 of us went to the last protest. If people disagree with the way Tan is running the club and the decisions he's made then you must do something about it, there is no point constantly moaning and then not showing up when it's time to let your voice be heard. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

do WHAT about it................piss him off? ..why?
i disagree with things but do actually love the club
as i said.. unless your sure of outcome what are you protesting for exactly?
the 90% dont so much back him..as have thought about it and concluded things could be a damn sight worse if you push this to its end

Re: Protest

What do we do then mate, just sit back make out we love him and let him carry on making ludicrous decisions ? I want Cardiff City back, the club as it is right now for me isn't the Cardiff City I grew up with. I know what your saying and to be honest I haven't got an answer for what comes next if he goes, it frightens me also but Cardiff City is slowly fading away whilst Tan does what he likes. He could also completely kill the club if we let him crack on with a name change, which I have no doubt is what he would really like to do.

It's a horrible situation we've been put in, I can't give up on the club but I can't accept what he's done or what he's doing.

i really do not know...but am 100% sure the football focus interview was a poke in the eye for those poking him........retaliation ....and have seen it coming..........im all for meaningful protests like a bl;ue no abuse protest but the opportunity for that was fucked up big time........now you have people who want to protest simply because they know not what else to do, but without thinking through what they want out of it...........no club?

All of us to different degrees want us back in blue. The more abuse he gets the more difficult it will be. How any one with one ounce
Of sence thinks calling him an Idiot, Lunatic, Madman, Insane, Dictator, and of course a cu.t amongs other 4 letter words will persuade him to change back are deluded. Sorry the 90% will end up being more as l cant see any sensible Cardiff City fan standing side by side with such people, acting like animals like some are will obtain one thing , kill the Club. The obsession by some for
power and ego has been the driving force for some. Most of these same people kept saying once he turns debt into equity hell be tied to the club thats the time to go get him out. Now they moan that he hasnt the same ones are saying lets protest because he hasnt, please tell me what the hell did they expect, the man is certainly no fool and l doubt if hes any of the above. Its worth remembering that most pleading for Tan to stay came from the same people now using the equity deal as the reason for protest.

You can't blame fans for being confused when Tan has created a club and brand that is both confused and flawed.

Barry what percentage would you say :-

a) Fully Support Tan and the money he has invested
b) Couldn't care less really, its a saturday pastime would prefer blue but not for more than a little sacrifice
c) Anti Tan and everything he has done and stands for

i would guess

a) 15%
b) 70%
c) 15%

What is the official number then? And is it a package deal, or can you just appose the rebrand? Is it possible to be against him
as the owner and have the wits to wait for a new one so we dont go bust? The rules on this is so fuzzy as the message is
TAN OUT.

Funfact! Did you know Ole took a step down joining Cardiff? Molde is higher on the rankings. Did you know the owner at molde is worth 3 billion and tan 1,3? Had so much fun today with stats. Did you know Ole have moved the team 15 yards up field since he got here? Did you know daehli run more than anyone in the champions league against wigan? ohhh what fun numbers can be..

What was the rules on that tan out again? :ayatollah:

All I'd say on percentages and numbers for this or that is that the majority of fans back tan and want him to stay.

It's as confusing as you want it to be. I and many others are not confused enough to stand alongside people that are militant to the extent that the use such language on a personal basis. If I cam on this board and called the owner or anyone for that matter a cutn on a personal basis I get banned. Yet it's alright for some who protest to call the owner a cutn and sing obscene verse. OK then if your confused.

Re: Protest

Your protest will mean nothing. The stadium is filled with 27,000 supporters of which 26,000 are behind Tan Sri.

Why do you not like change and progress?

I read the post regards devolution in the Welsh Government and how it's claimed to be opposed, didn't it go to vote and the Apathy of the vote turnout ensured victory.

Apathy the same ingredient of those who don't support Tan Sri.

Re: Protest

There's two choices

1. Force Tan out and the club will probably go into administration

2. Do nothing and let Tan destroy the club slowly

Take your pick. I'd go for number 1 personally

How did you come to that conclusion? I have thought many of times if the matter wasn't lead by "bar brawlers", but someone who would think strategy and sense, the dialog might lead somewhere. All this nonsense have done is forcing tan to say forget it..Surely there are people among the fans able to conduct business in this matter? Even when Annis spoke to Ogs, and found him respecting blue traditions, there where opening channels for dialog? Why not use these wisely? Further more, where do you see this "tan out" brawl will lead? What is the strategic end product? Bankrupt? Im left thinking someone didnt think this through  Off course, my argument is based that the fans agenda is getting CCFC playing with their badge and blue..

but there is a vocal minority anti tan.... tan out tan out.........no plan just tan out.......and no matter how often you ask there is no alternative other than vague remarks about blue and league 2,as if one means the other.or there are other billionaires ..
tan out..like its a f*cking vote........nobody voted him in........there was no one else interested........

Still. The consensus on the board are not separating them. No one is producing the end game on this.
And thats hilarious and scary at the same time..

What scares me the most is the no end game. Well, the only end game ive found will leave cc owned by a local bar at the end of league two. But, i really dont think the numbers are there to drive tan out before a new owner steps in someday..
If the protest turn out to be an anti tan brawl at the Liverpool game i think their days are up. Wast ccst member increase and dialog has a end product with both financial support and blue back. It even attract investors.. Cant wait for the endgame strategy! :ayatollah:
