Positives and negatives again ( ole will get it right )

Positives
We look like we have finally found a formation that works for us as a squad
The players looked more up for the fight today than any time over the last few months
We had real strength on the bench to try and change the game
With our strongest team on the pitch we look capable of surviving
They never really had many clear cut chances
Our team finally looked united again
Negatives
Another defeat but against a top team
We are still struggling to score but looked more promising
Slight balance issues due to team selection
In all honesty that was it , so much better than recent games
tactically I thought he got it spot on .
We looked solid at the back after we settled and I can see us playing 5-3-2 for the rest of the season , we have a lot of teams to play that are not of the quality of spurs and they will struggle to break us down .
Playing Juan cala as a inverted sweeper was a fantastic call by solskjaer and it freed Gary Medel up to play further up the pitch than he normally does .
Having Bellamy playing a free role behind Campbell also allowed us to keep a striker in the box rather than have Campbell dropping deep and chasing the ball in the channels leaving nobody in the box for crosses .
Team selection close but not quite right
Why on earth solskjaer is persisting with Fabio at right back is a mystery to me . His distribution is awful , his positioning is diabolical and his work rate pathetic . He is nowhere near a premier league full back . Saying that going forward he is not too bad , the problem is when he loses the ball he leaves gaps in behind him and hasn't got the work ethic to chase it back .
Aron Gunnarsson is struggling at this level and it shows , he is a fantastic little player but when matched up against true premier class midfielders he just doesn't cut it and has failed to make the step up IMO . We need to find the right mix in a midfield three if we play this formation and for me that would be gary medel , Jordan mutch and peter whittingham . I know people dislike whitts but his range of passing and set pieces are unrivalled in our squad at the moment and we need a playmaker to sit next to Mutch and Medel .Hopefully he was just off form and a rest has done him good .
Bellamy looks great just off the main striker and with him playing there it enables us to make a lot tactical changes at any point in the game .
I want to mention Ben turner because I thought he was fantastic today . Im not a fan of his at this level but he looks like he is finally starting to take the bad points out of his game and is looking more like the player we first signed .
Style of play
We played some good football today , you can finally start to see solskjaer a style coming through , some nice triangles and one touch football , we used the channels well and stopped hoofing the ball to nobody . Very happy to see our defence playing out with simple passes rather than looking for the long ball all the time but i think that was down to Juan cala playing the deep role and allowing medel a bit more freedom in midfield.
Yes we didn't create a lot of chances but against the lesser teams that will definately happen .
Im a lot more positive tonight than I have been the last few weeks , we can actually do this if we keep a solid team from now on in without chopping and changing
I get the feeling this could be a very exciting last few months of the season

i thought fabio played very well made a few mistakes but so did the rest of the team but i thought kim and gunnarsson looked absolutely terrible i think if we start mutch and dæhli we would create alot more chance's and look alot better
