HAS OGS NOW FOUND HIS STARTING 11

Sun Mar 02, 2014 6:33 pm

I Thought we put up a good performance today and our side looked more Balanced than i have seen it for a long time.
On our last attack Jones again was near to Just walking pace ,while all the ours were sprinting down Lazy play sorry to say.

Drop Fabio after todays performance? haha. like some one said this formation suits him aswell as John. they no they can forward more and not have to worry about the defence as much, with medal, turner, cala and caulker all supporting the back area

Replace Gunnar and Kim with mutch and daehli and i think that's a strong side

I definitely agree with dropping Gunnarson , gives the ball away far too much, But I would also like to see Noone in there

Noone was injured but I don't see how he would play in this formation?
Unless he could play as a wingback? Maybe

I thought Fabio looked more comfortable in this formation and would keep him in.

I'd go same but have Mutch for Kim with noone though would like Zaha to come on for bellars in advanced role, almost free roam

5-3-2 is a strong formation which suits players like noone, fabio, john etc. - you need pace in order to create something on the counter-attack.

However, playing Fulham I would play 4-1-3-1-1:
Marshall
McNaughton Cala Caulker John
Medel
Noone Mutch Zaha
Daehli
Campbell

In order to win you need a little bit of x-factor. Zaha has that. Daehli has that. Noone has that. Let them work their magic against a poor Fulham side and I think we can pull out a win.
