Who is actually paying for it though ? Because unless the debt he is racking up is changed to equity then it will be Cardiff City. Just a question do you really think it's smart expanding the stadium ? What fool in their right mind would expand a stadium when the club is far from established in the Premier League, we're in our first year in the top league in a relegation fight and he thinks it's clever to expand the stadium. There will be at least 10,000 empty seats next year, incredible decision.

Natman, the debt to equity is more important than any of that and if u were honest u would admit that.

Annis, not denying that, but these things take time.Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. Be fair, he's delivered on everything else.

Its increasing the asset base of the club to make us more attractive for either a sale or further investment. Its adds to our capital value and becomes work that future owners don't need to complete etc. To me it makes perfect sense along the lines of improving the training facilities

Fair enough I understand where your coming from but why right now ? what's the rush, surely the timing could be more sensible, more realistic, because at this rate we'll be playing in a half empty stadium, the man won't learn, how are we supposed to be successful and achieve these ambitions when everything is constantly up in the air ?

Genuine question, why is he loaning the money instead of investing it then ?

He hasnt got the cash lying around to invest it so the banks give us the money and its secured against his assets.
Thats why a debt to equity swap makes the balance sheet look good but truth is its just moving money from your left pocket to your right.

Surely investing money means putting your own money into something, if you make a profit great mission accomplished but if you fail and make a loss then tough luck that's the risk your willing to take, that's your own decision. If he don't convert then it's still Cardiff City in the shit not Vincent Tan isn't it ?
