If there is an easy way of paying we would all take it, and with 2 kids and wife its a hell of a whack to pay all in one go.
everyone who has kids will tell you you need loads of money just to keep them going , and to run your house.

I have a kid and a house and I pay in one go. I would prefer to do that than have an extra 150 quid a month come out of my account if I was paying for 3 people. I hate direct debits though, pay cash for most things.

I haven't seen any of the questions that they ask before giving you your season ticket on credit, but most companies use a credit scoring system where you gain points depending on length of time in employment, whether or not you are a homeowner, length of time in employment, current debts, monthly outgoings etc. If you think you would be ok on these points, it would be worth you getting a copy of your credit report from Experian. Only costs a few pounds, and you may find something registered against your name that you weren't aware of. If you have never had problems before, and your circumstances haven't changed, I can only guess that the club are using a different finance company for these season tickets, and that the criteria you have to meet to be accepted has changed.
