A FRIEND AND HIS FAMILY HAS BEEN REFUSED

Fri Feb 28, 2014 11:13 am

So what the hell is going on with the season Tickets ? He has been in the family stand for the last 2 season with his son and his wife. He phone up to renew with the 10 month plan and was refused. He has even contacted the financial people there self's but still no joy. So what the hell is going on anyone got any info on this ? The guy has a bloody good Job,and in fact is a manager of the company he works for.

If there is an easy way of paying we would all take it, and with 2 kids and wife its a hell of a whack to pay all in one go.
everyone who has kids will tell you you need loads of money just to keep them going , and to run your house.

Means nothing what job he has, he could be late paying his credit card or anything like that that will show up on a credit check

I have a kid and a house and I pay in one go. I would prefer to do that than have an extra 150 quid a month come out of my account if I was paying for 3 people. I hate direct debits though, pay cash for most things.

He should try again making sure all details are correct ie address bank details etc . If no joy try using his wife as the lead name instead of him

Could be something registered against the address. Sometimes a person can be in dispute with a company because he is not satisfied with goods provided, and that company may register his name as a defaulter with a credit reference agency, even if the customer has a legitimate complaint. Once resolved, you have to get the company to inform the credit agency that the debt is 'satisfied', but it can take a year or more before your name is actually removed from their records. Know of people who have been blacklisted by catalogue companies for stupid amounts like £10 or so.

I've been a season ticket holder for 6 years and have just been declined as well.

I haven't seen any of the questions that they ask before giving you your season ticket on credit, but most companies use a credit scoring system where you gain points depending on length of time in employment, whether or not you are a homeowner, length of time in employment, current debts, monthly outgoings etc. If you think you would be ok on these points, it would be worth you getting a copy of your credit report from Experian. Only costs a few pounds, and you may find something registered against your name that you weren't aware of. If you have never had problems before, and your circumstances haven't changed, I can only guess that the club are using a different finance company for these season tickets, and that the criteria you have to meet to be accepted has changed.

Nothing has changed, it's probably because V12 are now doing it instead of Zebra, all I can do is try and phone the club later, cheers

Some will fail to credit score because they have moved house and can't be found on the electoral register at their current address.

This has been said loads of times on here

Most of the rejections were down to administrative errors which in the main have been sorted out and were mainly down to the people applying making mistakes on the forms .
The only reason v12 are rejecting certain people on credit grounds is if they have been bankrupt .
