Tottenham Hotspur v Cardiff City

UPDATED DAILY :ayatollah:

Cardiff City :

Despite Cardiff's perilous league position and ahead of a difficult trip to fifth placed Spurs on Sunday, Bellamy says manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains positive.
"The way he goes about it, I quite like and admire as well," Bellamy said.
"It's a completely different style to the previous manager but he's got his own stamp on things and he's got his own view on football.
"I had a lot of respect for him as a player and he's come into a difficult situation.
"But he's positive and wants us all to keep believing and to show our character. This is a real test, for all of us."

Mark Hudson is out of the game and the remainder of the season.

Peter Whittingham has overcome his recent injury and City are likely to see the return of Gary Medel, Jordon Mutch to the starting 11, as well as Craig Belkamy who has served his three match suspension.

Tottenham :

TEAM NEWS

Tottenham midfielder Sandro could make his first league appearance under Tim Sherwood after returning from a two-month absence with a calf injury against Dnipro on Thursday.
Kyle Walker has recovered from a hip problem but Vlad Chiriches and Erik Lamela remained sidelined.

Spurs have failed to win six of their nine matches following a European outing this season.

Kyle Walker, who continues to struggle with a hip problem, as well as Danny Rose and Etienne Capoue who picked up injuries in Sunday's defeat at Norwich City, are all facing a race against time to make it for Sundays game.

Younes Kaboul (calf), Gylfi Sigurdsson (thigh), Erik Lamela and Vlad Chiriches (both back) all remain sidelined for Sherwood's side.

But in a rare piece of good news for Spurs boss Tim Sherwood, Sandro has been given the green light to play for the first time since mid-December.

I've already stated singing, 'Cos Tottenham's A Shitehole, I Wanna Go Home'. And just for safety, I've got a brand new military grade stab-proof vest emblazoned with 'You'll Always Be The Yids' on the back. Bought it off the Palestinian EBay Site earlier this week. Bargain. Wish me luck.

Could this be the shock result of the season? Hmm who knows football is a funny old game

Spurs home record is worse than their away record.

They have won less 50% of their home games.

Teams with a lot of offensive power cause Spurs all sorts of problems.

Teams who play a strong team defence with a good work ethic (like Hull), can get results.

We have the capabilities to get a result, a lot depends on our game plan.

Ole and his backroom staff will have analysed Spurs and how to get a result. It's up to Ole to pass that onto the players and the players to execute that game plan.

As mentioned, our form post Europa is pretty dire so it could be a tight encounter.

Looking forward to the match though.

I hope you chaps get your return to Blue shirts. If any Spurs owner made us wear red i would be devastated.

Now is the time to pull ahead in the table; west brom and Sunderland postponed and Sunderland still have a game to play away at the Etihad - if we can get 3 tomorrow (huge ask I know) then we could see ourselves sitting favourably for a while. Getting to 17th is key, then we can work everything else out as we go along.

Got a weird feeling we are going to win this game. Some of my predictions have come right!

Not sure why, part of me thinks this is where we turn it around.
