Cheering on British teams in Europe

Always have regardless of the side but watching the Jacks in Europe is seriously testing my loyalties!

Want to see them beat Napoli (nasty feckers and even worse fans ) and also if they win that is more games for them to juggle, but it's very difficult to see them do well!!!

They could be in the fa cup, capital one, euro and welsh cup and still do better than us.

I would sooner shit in my hand and clap.

Why do people cheer for teams in Europe just because they're British? I never understand this. French teams like Schalke were playing last night and France is only 20 miles across the channel, so why not cheer for them as well?

Last time I checked Schalke were in Germany. maybe in the time of Napoleon when he had vast stretches of Europe it probably was France, but not now

at least you admit it. We all have them days I like to see British teams do well though, helps with the overall scoring of the league as a whole, meaning more places for Europe up for grabs and consequently making the league stronger as a whole. That's my opinion anyway.

I only cheer English, Scottish and Malaysian teams on in Europe

I like to see the British teams go through, but other than Arsenal I don't exactly cheer them on. Hope Swansea go out though obviously

I would support Liverpool and Arsenal in Europe usually.

I'd cheer on some English clubs, others I wouldn't. I wouldn't dream of cheering on Swansea either.

I blame it on tiredness after work.

But yeah, you're right. British teams doing well will give our league a better reputation and more opportunities.
