Previously the potential to have 3 managers in a season would be something very unusual in the Prem. Now it's looking more and more to be a possibility, Fulham have already gone that route, West Brom might and who knows even we might... I guess at the financial difference relegation brings means owners can sometimes get a bit trigger happy... Really Clarke shouldn't have gone though - was punished for over achieving last year...

West Brom manager Pepe Mel is facing the chop, after only being in the job for 44 days, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Spaniard took over in January, but after failing to win in his six Premier League games so far, West Brom find themselves firmly in the relegation scrap.

The Mirror reports that the 50-year-old former Real Betis coach has two games to save his season. West Brom face Manchester United on March 8, before meeting with Swansea on the 15th that could decide his fate.

The Spaniard has lost the faith of several first team players, who would like Keith Downing and Dean Kiely to come back in charge. The pair had a successful spell over Christmas when they took the reins as caretaker boss when Steve Clarke left the club.

First team players are said to be wary of director of technical performance and scouting Dave McDonough. He has been appointed as Mel's interpreter on the training ground, due to Mel's lack of English. The first team stars are suspicious of McDonough as they feel he is working as a mole for chairman Jeremy Peace.

The lack of cohesion in the dressing room is also a worry for Mel. Members of the first team who played in last year's best ever finish for the club feel that the new signings haven't managed to fit into the squad.

It could get worse today for West Brom fans as striker Nicholas Anelka is set to find out if he will face punishment for his now infamous 'quenelle' celebration.

Well if both Fulham and West Brom can see that they made the wrond decision and are moving quickly to rectify it then in my opinion the appointment of OGS is the wrong decision and maybe replacing him with someone else is the only way to rescue the club from relegation. Some have said that 3 managers in a season is maddness but if the 3rd manager recuses them from relegation then its a job well done.

OGS has better results than Pepe and Rene and they have better players too use aswell.

Cut the crap and move on. OGS is here to build something new.

No chance. Had an awful record, was too reliant on Lukaku and never replaced him after he left. Clarke over achieved first season and was a victim of his own down fall

You again with your usual shit.

What good is changing a manager after the January transfer window? It is plain obvious we need a goal scorer and some full backs so what good would it do by bringing in a 3rd manager in the space of 2 months?

I couldn't care-less if Fulham have changed their manager 3 times it won't do them any good. Their team is lazy and full of bang average players they will go down regardless if Rene, Jol or Magrath is there.

You haven't liked the appointment of Ole from the start and you could tell you wouldn't give him much of a chance. Your hate for Tan is leading you to dislike our current manager to use it against Tan if/when we go down, you're a joke.

You were creaming your pants over Hoddle because he speaks well on Sky and was full of praise for Campbell so you wanted him as our manager now you want Ole to be gone and replaced with that no neck c**t who just causes unrest no matter where he goes. Bet you'd turn on him too if he didn't win his first game.
