I'd rather the Peruvian pan pipe band from the fast show than that bloody drum!

Now 3/4 drums like they use in Argentina / Spain / Italy etc MAY be more effective, with a few trumpets for good measure.

A single drum, and a single trumpet would add to the misery there to be honest. For further proof, go to an ospreys game.
Its so bad there that they "recorded" fans chanting and play that over the tannoys along with a "live band" on the trumpets when it goes quiet. sad.

As i said one bloody annoying drum is just that - one annoying drum....4/5 on the go and THEN you'll get atmosphere!!!

The Wales games had a pretty good atmosphere and that's with 10,000 people the band in the canton really help and if there was one in the ninian stand you could get a lot of people going

I'm all for bringing the drum back, the atmosphere in the canton has been dreadfull the last few games. Even if it means singing barmy army for 90 minutes, it's better than silence or listening to fans moaning at players all game
