have a look at these stats and make your own mind up
malky was in charge for 19 compedative league and cup games this season
winning 5 at 26.5 %
losing 10 at 53 %
and drawing 4 at 20.5 %
with a minus 15 goal difference
under oles management we have played 10 games in league and cups
winning 3 at 30 %
losing 6 at 60 %
and drawing 1 at 10%
with a minus 11 goal difference
that's a win rate of 3 .5 % better than malky
would this win rate have us on more points now if ole had come in earlier
and will this win rate be good enough to keep us up this season
im not sure how to use the percentages to make a prediction if any one can please put them up for us to see thanks

Ole's league win rate is no where near Malky's. Also his losing rate is higher.

Lets do those numbers come end of season? Or else its just going to one of those pop corn threads again.. And people love pop corn!

I don't need stats to comprehend we are playing like a bunch of fannys at a WI conference
Tue Feb 25, 2014 4:20 pm
well I know that I put it up this way to see what the win rate overall would do to our season
the facts are there for every one to see and decide for them selves which would be better
winning 30 % and drawing 10 % under ole
or
winning 26.5 % and drawing 20.5 % under malky
over 38 games ole would get 38 points
malky would be fractionally less on 37 .8
amazing what you can do with figures if you have a mind to

think we might have to give ole a little more time eh

Unfair to compare. Malky had 2.5yrs and his squad. Ole has had 10 games with an inherited squad. Time will tell if he was the right choice.

thought the malky lovers would ignore these stats hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Tue Feb 25, 2014 6:02 pm
There shit stats you've included the fa cup in oles not really fair.
Tue Feb 25, 2014 6:04 pm
Malky was here for more games, it's more accurate from his stats. Give it another 3 games and Ole's win rate will be a lot lower

Here we go
Tue Feb 25, 2014 6:16 pm
there not shit stats there totally accurate to what I said you cant read whats in front of you
you obviously see something that is not there bluebird 88
I included cup games in both managers stats ie in malkys stats as stated I included the carling cup games
please have another look for yourself
I also said its amazing what you can do with figures if you have a mind to
you prefer to back malky by wanting to leave the cup games out
I prefer to use all games played to prove my point

You talk some shit steve. Ole has us battered all over the park week in week out worst football i have ever seen us play
Wed Feb 26, 2014 10:15 am
If you take every result as a league game, Malky got 19 points from his 19 games. Ole has 10 points from his 10 games.
Sadly, Ole won 2 cup games and we have been f*cking terrible since he took over.

If u took bolton out of the equation beings as they r championship level, Ole's win percentage goes below Malkys
Wed Feb 26, 2014 8:07 pm
His league record is much poorer.
Wed Feb 26, 2014 8:13 pm
Ole bias is clearly showing here. Bolton and Wigan are also Football League level. And Ole lost one of them
Wed Feb 26, 2014 8:16 pm
He's not even making sense.
Wed Feb 26, 2014 10:26 pm
Add to that the league games ole had away in Jan.
Wed Feb 26, 2014 10:45 pm
Those points at Newcastle and Bolton could be vital at the end of the season.
At the moment it is 17-4 to Malky in terms of league points won. They will both manage 17 games each and I'm hoping Ole comes out on top otherwise we are probably down.
