Whats frustrating me most is that we nearly have a team that could compete in the Prem.Excellent goalkeeper,a future England captain in defence, great defensive midfielder, great attacking midfielders but no strikers. The last two managers have brought appalling strikers in.What on earth can Jones do that Mason cant? Imagine what Defoe and McCormack could do in this team with Noone making all those chances.
Had a great chance to maintain a great Prem future but blew it.

I can see where you are coming from but you can't compare Kenwyne Jones and Joe Mason. Two completely different attackers.

Its incredable that in the past 2 seasons we have spent 10m last season and a reported 50m this season and yet we are still struggling in the exact same positions we have all along. Left Back, Right back and upfront.

Team is the wrong word. Collective may be more suitable. Ole changed the team too fast, we only needed a replacement for turner and a goalscorer. Instead he went and bought the Norwegian national set up.

Which will serve us proud, many have spoke about daehli being snapped up by a top 6 team so that shows he's got potential, what I have saw of eikrem he can pass a cracking ball through, and we need to see more of Berget. He's tall though and can also play up front so we could see him starting as our target man at some point. The Norwegian signings were logical as they already know ole's philosophy. Team wise we have the quality but we need to work on our final ball.

how many assists Noone made then? He is good at setting himself up for shots at goal

So sad... Ever thought about "supporting" another team? I mean, one you actually like?

I like Noone. The OP said he was creating lots of chances, I beg to differ
