I have thought long and hard about renewing my 3 season tickets, I've supported city for a long long time was at Bury on a Wednesday night to celebrate us winning promotion from the old 3rd division, got home at 4 am to get up and do my History O Level at 9 o clock. Anyway getting side tracked here the decision I've come to is Cardiff is my only team and yes I will renew.
But what is the percentage if any one knows of those saying sod it, I reckon it could be up to 25%.......

I've got mine but I was talking to one of the guys on Saturday and he has said he will not and that to date we have sold less than 3000 season tickets, does anyone know if this number is correct?

I also know a lot of people, friends & colleagues, who are not renewing,,,for one reason or another.
3000 seems low at the moment, but all thing taken in to account, I'm not really surprised. Fans really will vote with their feet next season, & if that's not a warning to VT & Co, then nothing will.

I was at that game in Bury. Adrian Alston scored, to clinch promotion. That was my favourite ever season, 1975/76, for so many reasons. Happy days, we were young then.
Coming back to the present, my dad and myself have renewed. Why? Because its our club, and its football. So many people seem obsessed with the Premier League. Surprising really.
No idea what the ST sales are like, but we can expect a fairly big drop in attendances, at least initially, in the Championship. We'll be back to Ninian Park crowds, which may not necessarily be a bad thing. A lot of the younger fans will stay. Once they get the bug, it's pretty powerful. Away trips will be fun again, and cheaper. Some great grounds to visit.
It's always disappointing to be relegated, but this season has been pretty crap! Perhaps our ceiling is as a decent Championship , or second division, side. No shame in that. There's a whole world of football out there. We're Cardiff City! We are what we are.
