The way I see it, nothing has changed since he first came to the club. Same problems. His main problem seems that there's a fear factor about him. Everyone around him is so shit scared of him that they are afraid to look in his direction.
Maybe this is of his own doing after sacking people for fun at the club. I think the first person he sacked was the Chief Exec - Gareth WosHisName. Rightly or wrongly, maybe these people wasn't right for the club in Tan's view, but it's the way you go about it that's most important. Tan is perceived as being some ruthless Emporer type who cuts peoples heads off for pleasure.
The main problem with ruling by fear is you end up with a bunch of yes men and arse lickers who tell you what you want to hear rather than the cold hard truth. This type of person is the very last type he needs at a football club.
What he needs are people who will give him the truth or their honest opinion. AND Tan has to respect this truth. So when he asks people about his plans to bring in an inexperienced manager to a relegation dog fight, they can honestly tell him that it's not such a good idea, and a better idea would be to go for an experienced dog fighter manager.
As it stands at the moment though no one there is stupid enough to stick their head up because they know he'll chop it off.
As a footnote. What makes me laugh about Tan is he does all these "lucky" things. He seems to be a big beleiver in luck. Yet he doesn't seem to understand karma. When you crap on people you send out bad karma. With all the people he's crapped on no wonder we are so fucked! Try sending out some good karma ffs.
