Tan should have given Malky

Sun Feb 23, 2014 1:59 pm

The two or three players he wanted in January and said keep us up, we may well have stayed up then, now no way are we staying up. Ok MM fucted up on a few signings, better managers than him have done the same, fergeson with Veron, Chelskie with Tores, even ozile at Aresnal for example. Trouble is tan wanted the manager who got us promoted from the championship out just after the season started, and the rot set in. BTW OGS is hopeless and will probably take us to league one at best :(

I can't believe you're still sticking up for Tan after yesterday. I swear Tan and his fellow Malaysian rats must post on here under false names sometimes!

Wrong in your opinion, but the proof is Oli aint the right man, as results and performances show. We will never know if I was right, but one thing I do know, a Malky side wouldnt have lost 4 nill at home to Hull. Not a fan of MMs style, but reckon wed be a few points better off.

Under MM: Played 18 Won 4 Drew 5 Lost 9 For 13 Against 28 17 points.

It was drab football at times but MM was picking the points up here and there and with a few re enforcements everything looked promising to stay up. 17 points from 18 games is not bad.

Under OGS: Played 7 Won 1 Drawn 1 Lost 5 For 4 Against 16 4 points.

There is nothing to say that OGS is not going to be an excellent manager but he came in with very little time to get it right. To date it has not worked out but we may put a run together. He needs to stick with his preferred 11 through thick and thin.

Perhaps the owners expectations for the first year in the Premiership were set too high and he should have given Malky time to see the job through until the end of the season. He got us there so he deserved to see it through. With regards to signings yes, there may be an error of judgement with one or two signings but it is eclipsed by the many successful signings. I was not a Malky fan when he took over but I think Malky would have given us a good chance of staying up.

But you cannot seriously believe that MM's 8mil signing 'The Donkey' Cornelius was going to keep us afloat? My Nan could have done a better job and she's been dead 13 years... FFS

Or sacked him earlier, in terms of the negativity around the time at least put it to bed instead of letting it run its course.

almost every conversation i heard at Carrow Road included two things
1..the rumour Malky would be gone within a few days/ week / fortnight
2..what a complete balls up he had made in the summer transfer window...if i were Tan and it be my money id be angry too......

over and over and over..............
i wonder had he sacked him that night.
but what did happen was Tan hesitated and the tide of opinion turned.
the bigger the hero Malky became, the bigger the villain Tan was to become.

i believe had he gone that night..and i still think it our worse performance even after saturday..
things wouldnt be right..but they would be better than it is now.

I hardly ever question other people's opinions as they are entitled to them obviously, but that did make me smile I have to be honest.

He couldn't cut it at QPR on loan last year so how Ole thought he'd be any better for us is beyond me. The one thing I will say is that if given a choice between him and Catherine I'd take Fabio every day!

But I'd take Kev over all our full backs. Hell, I'd even play Cowie at right back over what we've got currently!

If Tan leaves at the end of the season there might be a chance of him returning?
