We were a decent Championship side, paying in blue, with a united fanbase. Crowds were ok. Good away support, as always. People complained a bit about the new ground, Dave Jones, and the Riddler. Same as ever! The financial situation was a bit dodgy, but I doubt if it was as bad as some claim. We'll probably never know for sure.

But, naturally enough, a lot of fans wanted to play in the Premier League, which is fair enough. But who could have imagined that we would attract the worst owner in English football?

We got tho the PL, but at what cost? And for one lousy, pantomime, season.

The moral of the story is 'be careful what you wish for'!

True. We have too many fans who supported the rebrand and were prepared to sacrifice our colours for a bit of permiership glory. I bet most of them are regretting their mistakes. They did get what they wished for but at what cost ?

No such thing as red years. I have always worn blue. I suppose though that you will look just as ridiculous wearing your red jersey in championship as well.
