It's not the maths that's the issue, it's the way we are playing. We simply cannot defend. At what point does optimism turn into delusion? I'd say we are there now. Going down but embrace it, it's no big deal. What's more important is how we react next season.

we won't score the goals to keep us up.

And even if we did magically start finding the net we won't stay up if we keep giving the ball away like we did yesterday. At least 3 of theirs yesterday came from us presenting them with possession!

Can't knock your belief and optimism though and I hope amongst all hope you are right.
