Cowie is SHOCKING....
I can't remember him winning a tackle, he half-heartedly goes up to win headers with 50:50 balls and if he doesn't pass backwards every time he had the ball, he diddled on it not having any idea what to do!!!
FAO Carl & Annis - any news on the 3 year extension he was apparently offered????

Slow, negative and the weakest player we've had this season!

Thought Cowie did alright, gave us plenty of energy in the midfield and played some good passes. People complain about Cowie passing sidewards but it's alright when Medel does it for 90 minutes

Moo cow just for the record who or what level of football did you play at because all you seem to do is slaughter Cowie but their is never any constructive criticsm from you (clueless)

I thought Ekram started very well, some of his passing and vision was a joy to watch, then like you said from that mistake he went downhill .

Both horrendous! But Cowie was played well out of position, he's no holding midfielder. Gunnarsson would have been a better choice yesterday.
Eikrem is actually a classy footballer with vision. He's in the Whittingham mould but far better in my opinion. He did make a mistake which led to the first goal and faded in the second half but I think we should stick with him and include him in a midfield 5 along with Mutch, Medel (when both fit),Gunnarsson and Noone. Sadly I dont think we have the quality for 4-4-2

If Whitts played as ineffectively as Eikrem you would have created about four posts.
Our two best midfield players were out yesterday and the replacements were not up to going against an opposition three man midfield.. After paying so much for Saha and Nooney on fire Ole's hands were tied.
I think Ole needs to go back to his beliefs which I thought was not 442, but 4231.
Taylor wasn't great last year, but has been mullered in the faster premier league
