Team v Hull - Has To Be

Need characters and as well as the flair players and some dogs. With Medel out for at least 3 weeks we have to have runners and tacklers. So:

We need Campbell to be on the bench ready to come on at any time to ensure Jones gets the message. Campbell will inject pace when Hull start tiring. We need to get on the front foot from the start and not mess around. Get our wingers driving forward and attacking the byline and getting crosses in.

We need Mutch and Bellamy back big time

Got a feeling Ole will put this team out on Saturday. He will omit Daehli, let him off the pressure and not start him. Hope I am wrong. I think he is ready and being lightweight is not a problem with his level of close control, stronger players can not get to the ball without making a foul anyway. Not so confident of a win on Saturday.

If everybody is fit, I think you might be right, although Taylor for John seems likely because of Zaha's lack of defensive ability. I'd prefer John, attack, attack.....attack, attack attack!

A central midfield of Whits and Mutch would get murdered by Hull

What are the other options ? Eikram or Gunnarsson

Eikram is no better than whittingham , if anything he's worse
Gunnarsson hasn't had a good game for months .

We will struggle if Gunnarsson is picked. Unfortunately he is not Premiership standard. He is slow, his passing is poor and he gives away far too many free kicks.

The only time that I recall him doing anything this season was his goal against Man City. Other than that he has come off the bench, fouled the opposition goalies and as a result we have had goals disallowed. Sorry but he is not the answer.

Got go agree Gunnarsson has had a very poor season .
The one player we had in our squad capable of playing medels role and style of play was filip kiss and we loaned him out . Not saying he would be good enough but you never know until that actually play

Eikram has done nothing in the games he has played , he was even taken off half time in one of them . How anybody can say he's better than whittingham who is just in a poor run of form is a mystery to me
