' JOE MASON AGREES BOLTON LOAN '

Thursday 20th February 2014

City striker set to return to Bolton, subject to international clearance

City can confirm that striker Joe Mason has agreed to return to SkyBet Championship side Bolton Wanderers on loan, subject to international clearance.

The deal will see the 22-year old stay at the Reebok Stadium until the 12th April, a spell that will see Joe in the Trotters squad for eleven of their upcoming league games, prior to returning to the Welsh Capital.

It will be Mason’s second spell on loan in the north west having previously spent two months at the Reebok Stadium this season. Mason made eight appearances for the Trotters, scoring in a 3-0 win over Doncaster Rovers in December.

Mason joins seven other City players currently out on loan, joining Ben Nugent (Peterborough United), Joe Ralls (Yeovil), John Brayford (Sheffield United), Simon Moore (Bristol City), Deji Oshilaja (Sheffield Wednesday), Filip Kiss (Ross County) and Nicky Maynard (Wigan Athletic), currently on loan from Cardiff City Stadium.

We wish Joe the best of luck in his second spell at the Reebok Stadium.

I think Cardiff will lose or at best draw on the weekend & I backed-up my reasoning behind it. Does that mean I am negative and should be denied the opportunity to interact on the forum, because it does not suit your fluffy optimistic stand-point?

Suits me just fine sir. And im wrong offcourse! No one blabber with no foundation here.. Have to disagree with your analysys though after seeing Hull in FA cup. Their midfield is WIDE OPEN. But thats just my phluffy opinion, and overly optimistic :ole:

Half a game actually and that was enough.

Just think Mason would have been a better bet.

Refering to the Bolton game? Im shure if you give Berget one game, you do Mason the same favor? Or are you basing it on training sessions?

Sarcasm is the poorest form of wit.
What I saw over the past 2 seasons, championship standard accepted, but Mason certainly has more pace and IMO (it is only opinion after all) would do a better job from the bench if needs be.

So you have two seasons to judge Mason and 60 minutes cup game from Berget. You dont see how silly that is? I have no clue witch of them is the better, and neither do you. But would have loved the reaction if new signing was loaned out, even though
he was a free signing. At least Mason is getting game time now.. :ole:
