Don't think it has been as bad recently personally......
Got to be expected though fella, a lot of people are passionate about the history and identity of their club, and for many it is a big part of their life.

Exactly

it is boring at times I grant that. But are we to pretend it's not one of the most divisive issues in the history of the club? Ludicrous to think an issue like that is not up for discussion or out-of-bounds.

All about opinions
Blue can't be that big only a couple of hundred protested out of 28k

Spot on. Without our Identity we are nothing in my opinion.
This means everything to me

Our Fans should never stop talking about it and never give up.
Ive been told by some to move on, get over it etc, No I wont and I never ever will.
Your right only 1,500 protested at the last demonstration, that to me is shocking, since we get 27,000 plus crowds. Hopefully the numbers at least double next time.
Thu Feb 20, 2014 7:55 am
The identity of OUR club means everything to me. There are thousands of supporters who wear their Blue scarfs, to some people that is the only way they wish to protest.
Personally i will protest at any march, at any sit in after a game, at any protest outside the ground to get our true identity back.
Unfortunatley what Tan has done has totally divided the fans. Thousands sang "the blues are going up", where are you now?
I believe that the vast majority of our fan base wants to see the city in Blue. One day this will happen and i for one dont care whether it is is top flight or not...WE ARE CARDIFF CITY AND WE WILL ALWAYS BE BLUE

It all depends on what you describe as footballing matters, cardiff city are a blue club, fans nationally and internationally recognise that fact, even Paul merson mentioned it on sky sports on Saturday, clearly the issue doesn't bother you well it does for other,as long as your watching premiership football hey?

It highlights that our identity is more important to people than what's happening on pitch. I'm glad the issue is the main topic of discussion on here and it will be a sad day if it ever stops.

It is one of the biggest decisions in cardiffs history.

Here's a suggestion.
Don't click on blue/red related posts.

It fairly obvious why there were poor turn outs.
Stories that were circulating of people getting abused for what they were wearing.
Chants and banners promoting hatred.
Hardly encouraging was it?
The Good that was potentially there was destroyed by a few with Agendas.

Agree with this, however I don't think it would be too difficult to get good numbers, with the right agenda, being history and identity, to take part in an organised protest.
Just look what happened at Anfield, which was excellent and in my opinion was not necessarily about Malky, but the rebrand and regime at the helm of our club.
Pre match protests don't seem to work as most people are more interested in getting tanked up, perhaps at the end of the game, as at Anfield.
This requires a group with fresh perspectives and a respected spokesperson to get it going, back to blue is gathering momentum

Agreed fully... Hopefully that could happen.

I never slag off the pro reds. I never slag off deserters, Tories, jacks, Surrender monkeys....
I don't mind reluctant reds but I hope all the pro red "fans" boycott the club forever when we eventually get our true identity back.
You will not be forgotten.

I wouldn't abuse a pro-red but I reserve the right to have the opinion they are class less retards.

It's not boring, it's brilliant. The fact that there are people who do not see the continued fight for the return to blue as not being boring and tedious and not worth bothering about because it has gone on too long and it's repetitive etc....it's the reason I come on here. To see that there are like minded people.
The minute we all shrug our shoulders and go with it because it is boring is the minute the fight is over. I've marched, chanted, wear blue etc...and will continue to. People will say maybe that I have not done enough but I do what I can. May the bickering continue until normal service is resumed.

To summarise yes the debate has been done to death and I would imagine that it's boring for those who don't care. However, this means so much to so many and if your fed up of the bickering then surely you should also be fed up of the cause of it all, the rebrand. The reason for the bickering is because the rebrand had divided fans like never before even if you don't care what colour we are then surely you would like the arguments and division to stop. That for me is a good enough reason to oppose the rebrand. You don't have to dislike the current colour to get behind the restoration campaign you may just want the fans back as they were and the only way to do that is to go blue. Some fans will never accept the red so until this is reversed the arguments will always exist, if people stopped being passionate about this subject then it means they have accepted the red. For me this will never happen. I see you as having 2 options, either put your hand up in regards to the restoration (doesn't matter if going back to blue or stopping the bickering is your goal) or to just ignore the bickering. But as I'm sure you would know in life if you don't do anything then nothing happens. If you don't like things as they are (and many don't) you have to do something about it.
Thu Feb 20, 2014 7:27 pm
We all want blue back but some are Fukin nuts over it to the extent they don't care what happens on the pitch. This is where it goes too far.
I've whitnessed red shirt wearers being abused and quite frankly it stinks.
And as for the guy that said they are retards, the only retards are those turning on people that are supporting the club.
This is boring now and the original Kcb turned anybody against it being so Fukin juvenile. And as for the VT song the only wankers are the ones actually singing it. U think that spurs the players on???

I understand the reluctant reds. I don't agree with them but the pro reds? I hope they hang their heads in shame when we get our identity back. f**k them. Seriously. Bristol City are red. I hate Bristol more than the aeroplane pointers from Swansea. Red. f*cking hell.
Fri Feb 21, 2014 12:51 pm
A pro red
f*cking show me one....
Not someone who as Wez Said is A reluctant one.
But smoke who actively campaigns on a regular basis to stay red
Is 110% anti-blue and belittles anyone who refutes the idea of red.
Don't exist at all mate.
