Are you a Cardiff City fan? Are you down in the dumps? Fear not, our Bluebirds expert Steve Tucker takes a tongue-in-cheek look at why we should all remain positive.

' 9 reasons why Cardiff City will stay up '

1) Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows all about rescuing lost causes. Remember the Champions League final in 1999? Manchester United looked down and out against Bayern Munich until Solskjaer stepped in and the rest his history.

2) David Marshall is awesome. If a giant asteroid was heading towards earth ready to wipe out civilisation as we know it, forget Bruce Willis, 'Marshy would save it!

3) Mats Daehli is a genius. Sure, the young Norwegian looks like one of the mascots getting a run out, but the teenager has magic in his boots.

4) It's Hull Tigers against Cardiff Dragons on Saturday. A dragon would kick a tiger's butt, right? It breathes fire and everything. Cool.

5) All the other teams around Cardiff at the bottom of the table are rubbish. No seriously, take a look, Fulham, Stoke, Crystal Palace. No chance. The Bluebirds are going to be fine.

6) As we know, Solskjaer lost his first few games in charge at previous club Molde and still went on to win the title. Ergo, Cardiff will win the Premier League and we can all start planning our trips to Barcelona and Real Madrid. Brilliant.

7) The Bluebirds will return from their training camp in Abu Dhabi next week with super-powers. Peter Whittingham will have x-ray vision to see through walls at free-kicks, Steven Caulker will be able to stretch his legs to extreme lengths to make tackles and Ben Turner will be able to pass the ball to a teammate. Amazing.

8) Wilfried Zaha is actually an anagram of, 'The Bluebirds will stay up.' But only obviously if you are not too fussy about the way you compose anagrams.

9) What's the worst that can happen anyway? Cardiff City go down. Vincent Tan pulls out and Solskjaer's men end up playing Adamsdown Gazelles. Hey, at least they'd probably be doing it in blue!

Wales online must really scrape the barrel when employing sports journalists. He is not only inaccurate on a regular basis but not even funny. The editor also love is 5 things or 10 things type columns it is right through the paper and half the things are pure fantasy. I wouldn't say it was lazy just stupid. :?

yes..and a lot lighter than most crap thats written of late

id rather read ten silly reasons why we would stay up than ten brain dead reasons why we will not.

truth is,at this point a lot of it is going to be down to luck, i dont see we are a lot worse or better than the clubs around us, a couple of lucky goals either way, a few crap ref decisions either way. or maybe us clicking when the team we play having a mare once or twice.. its a game of fine lines between success and failure.
