Anyone been before? How much would I expect to pay for a villa for 3 weeks?

Same as anything it depends on how big? Location, quality and time of year. Been a few times and priced up villas against hotels but always found the hotels to be more suited to our needs no need to drive in the night etc.with their proximity to restaurants.

Sorry i can't really help you to much with villas but i work with a lot of people who go out to florida regular and have done both villas and hotels. If they have gone with a big party they have said the villas are great but someone as got to drive all the time. Where the hotels mostly have shuttles to parks wether you want to use them or not and dependant on what part you go to if on i drive the trolly or lynx buses covers the 14 mile distance with loads of bars and restaurants and entertainment. Lake buena vista is close to downtown disney and loads of bars. You could be missing out on some good nightlife unless you're prepared for taxis or one of you is going to drive

I'm going for 3 weeks over April and May and found the villas were a lot more expensive, approx £1200. Decided on a great 4 star hotel.

For somewhere I will be staying for 3 weeks in my lifetime its probably not worth it
As for the trip - We are starting in Whistler Canada to snowboard for 2 weeks, driving to New York to stay for a few days, on to Washington DC for a couple of days, drive to Florida to do the parks etc for 3 weeks and then driving across to San Fran and then Vegas.
Most of it I have planned but no idea when it comes to Florida.
Thanks for your replies though ill be looking into them for sure

Out of season you can get a 4 bedroom villa for around £700 for 3 weeks.
Personally I found going out of season is far superior than in-season. If you are visiting the parks you will get alot more done as you basically walk on the rides instead of waiting like 1 hour.
Also take into account the weather is a lot cooler but pleasant to be out in for the out of season period. In season it can be very hot, humid and have nasty thunderstorms. I make my judgement not from a person living in the UK but for someone who resided in the Middle East at the time.

Nice one
We were thinking about doing it as a separate holiday but with us being in Canada September time we have decided to incorporate it in so will now be looking at October time.
Ive been given this link which is a 2 bedroom for £250 a week but not sure what the quality is compared to others?

I usually go for a month every year around Sept/Oct and pay around £400 a week for a 4 bed 3 bathroom villa, this includes pool heating.

Regal palms in Davenport is a nice place....you can get a townhouse or villa there quite reasonable, plus you got a shared pool and complex like a hotel. You will need a car in the states dont use shuttles.

Only downside with visiting Florida or anywhere near the Gulf at this time of year is that it is tornado season. I did visit Florida in September once for a couple of weeks and got lucky, but just be aware that you could be exposed to some very rough weather at that time of year if you are unlucky.
By the way, Vancouver (Whistler) is amazing!

Been twice in October time both early and late and found very little queues. The parks done out for Halloween which is obviously a big thing for them and universal doing their special horror nights. If it's just the two of you again I''m no expert but you are more likely to enjoy around I drive, l.b
v. Area where there is more happening entertainment and the shopping malls. A lot of the villas do seem to be around davenport and kissimee which Is nearer the disney complex but a good distance away from universal and city walk. Which personally if I went without kids would be heading to rather than to see mickey
