Newcastle United are eyeing up a move for Man United youngster Wilfried Zaha as a possible replacement for Hatem Ben Arfa. Magpies wide-man Ben Arfa is expected to leave in the summer having consistently failed to deliver over the past year or so and Alan Pardew will then look to lure England man Zaha to St James’ Park.
Zaha joined Man United in January 2013, finished last term on loan at Crystal Palace, and then joined the Old Trafford first team squad in the summer only to find himself seemingly not part of David Moyes’s plans. The exciting youngster has now been loaned out to Cardiff City, a move that could well act as a shop window for the Man United man. This source quotes a Newcastle United ‘insider’ as stating;
“We’ve looked at Zaha before and if there’s a chance Man United are ready to send him out on loan again we’d definitely do our best to bring him in.”
Man United paid Crystal Palace £15m for Zaha but would struggle to recoup that outlay now.

His form would need to improve dramatically but you can see he has the pace and power, just needs to do it for longer during games. A bit like Mutch in that respect.
