Malky/Ole Poll....

Mon Feb 17, 2014 2:34 pm

Forget the politics, answer this poll Basing your opinion soley on the football.

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

Malky had 2.5 years, Ole has had 9 games. Totally unfair to compare at this stage.

Malky achieved the job he was recruited to do.

Ole was recruited to lift us above a relegation dogfight. He is failing in the job and you are in denial Craig.

How do you know the remits this season. I would expect tan wanted more than 17th after spending 50m and quite rightly.

time to forget malky, hes gone, support the current regime.

Craig, Malky did not sign this season, he was recruited to get us in the prem.Plus we were in far better shape before Tan sacked Moody, If you think Malky was sacked because of the football then you really are losing the script.

Ole is an atrocious pick by a deluded tyrant who doesn't know his arse from his elbow. I said from the beginning, even after Bolton, that Ole lacked the experience and football style for this job.

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

Mon Feb 17, 2014 2:51 pm

Yep, Malky had so much prem experience.......

Malky had 2.5 years to build his squad. Ole has had 9 games and one January window. To compare them is utterly ridiculous. Malky had 3 windows before I judged him and Ole will get the same.

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

Well, well, another useless Malky/OGS poll. The last 1 had OGS by 2 to 1.I wouldn't mind so much if the OP accepted the result and moved on but no,we'll have another one in a few days.Like it or not Malky's gone and he aint coming back.See,whatever your beef with Tan/LIm/the club it aint OGS's fault.

For Ole The remit is different. He should have pissed it to safety with this side, but chose to rip up the team ethos and play like Keggan's Newcastle. That is poor judgement and i don't see what transfer windows have to do with piss poor strategical nous.

he wasnt nearly as popular a manager as some thought..we lose to Wigan and another poll in the hope he gets more support.how can we judge OGS?.Malky had the luxury of bringing in who he wanted and a whole pre season to work with them.Ole,yes he has brought in 7 but has also to sort through the 30 odd already here.

What do you think about Ole's decision to completely rip up the previous team ethos and play like Newcastle? Mid season, Ina relagation battle?

It has to be the most naive managing decision i have seen in my life and i said as much after his Bolton victory.

Why do you get abusive? If you can remember back to Moody's sacking, there was genuine talk about mid season safety. This side could've achieved that without Tan'd interference

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

Looks like Ole is winning the poll by a landslide. I think the team is to much of a mess, malky has assembled a shambles of a team that cannot attack for shit, Ole is trying to change that but there are to many malky type players in the team. IMO Fergie wouldn't of been able to save this shower of shit from the drop. Hopefully with a full summer Ole can get rid of 70% of Malkys signings and assemble a team to win the championship.

to continue in Malkys very unique way we would have had to keep Malky, was always my biggest gripe with him tbh, we stay up,he keeps playing that awfull football . whoever came in.this was always going to happen. its not OGS.most managers would have done likewise

question...........its not been said, but i think its obvious Tan suspects hands in the cookie jar........has that thought crossed your mind? and if so how can you be such a staunch supporter of these two {MandM}..

I don't think it was a case of either/or............Most managers would've managed the style transition gradually , i can't see how anybody with a footballing brain can support a complete dismatnling of playing style, from defensive, to all out attack, while entering a relagation dog fight. I'm sure Ole is still learning and perhaps already regrets this, but some on here still think he's done the right thing, even with the benefit of hindsight. ;)

Tan also suspects that red is a very lucky colour. In short Tan has zero credibility, and this is a discusiion about the football not club politics.

I dont understand you Malky fans..In other topics OGS is getting hammered for not showing a first eleven or a clear strategy..Now he is getting hammered for not taking the transition slowly..

There's over 20 players who shall learn a new way to play football and the best way to make it go faster is to start right away..

How the hell shall they understand shit if he changed the style a little now and then? Sounds smart mate, Lets use 20 matches to get to the tactics we shall learn..

How many new managers have ripped up the forumala and started again, midseason? Appalling strategy, absolutely bonkers, proven by our shit defending by players who don't know what they're meant to be doing.

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

What a clueless idiot you are. There was always going to be a transition from 11 men behind the ball to actually playing the sport we call football.

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

Mon Feb 17, 2014 6:20 pm

Anyone tell me what purpose this poll will serve, will it make any difference to the team performance, will it result in MM returning, this is all getting a bit boring now, and I am one of those who supported him and still think that he will be a success in the future.

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

Mon Feb 17, 2014 9:45 pm

I wouldn't of see us win v Newcastle in the FA Cup, the fact we went for it in the FA Cup has made me happy, okay we went out but MM wasted chances past 2 seasons in the FA Cup, a cup I enjoy being part of and I don't expect us to win it but at least being knocking on the doors of Quarter finals.

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

Mon Feb 17, 2014 9:53 pm

Malky was good at the media spin but found out at prem level very quickly. I think we would have been worse off with him in charge.

To many people supporting Malky to have a go at Tan.

Re: Malky/Ole Poll....

Mon Feb 17, 2014 9:56 pm

Ole made a change instant v Norwich where MM wouldn't have, in the Prem you can't wait around to make a change, isn't the Championship.
