Time to bring in football consultant?

Mon Feb 17, 2014 2:31 pm

With 5 wins needed from 12 games but only having recorded 5 wins in the last 26 games time is running out.

I think that everyone agrees that OGS looks clueless in his interviews, so I think that he needs some help for these last 12 matches.

I am thinking of a Sir Alex Ferguson type who can organize and inspire this group of players into action in a very short time - this week in fact.

Our squad is not great but not worse than Fulham, Norwich, West Brom or Hull but it needs a confidence boost from a senior figure now or we will be down very soon

I disagree ogs looks clueless. He speaks the truth and not what fans want to hear.

i think the way with managers is back them or sack them............OGS is not without contacts in the game so im sure if he sought advice,he would find it.........the very worse thing you can do in any walk of life is give a man a position and then appoint someone to oversee what he is doing and give unwanted advice..often from someone he might not want or even respect...

You can't make gold from shit !, The squad he has just isn't good enough and anyone who believes Malky would have kept us out of the relegation zone is deluded !

Agree with this. We have to sink or swim with Ole now. He's our manager. I'm far from impressed so far but it's early days for him & I'll support him.

You could get SAF in but it wouldnt make any difference if your players struggle to string 3 passes together!

Seems that there is a big call for this now - but probably too late

We don't need a football consultant, we need football players!

You think a player that scores winning goals in champions league finals for Manchester United needs a football consultant.

No! We just need a decent manager. And an owner who understands the game. But that's asking for a lot.

OGS isn't clueless, I don't know where that has come from. I guess he is being judged because of where he came from.

I will only truly be judging Ole by partway through next season, whatever division we are in.
