But let's just focus on the negatives eh![]()
Tan has fucked this up for himself.
But you cannot suggest he has never done anything good for the club.
Even a very vocal anti Tan Moderator has said as much.

Bollox. Tan had the opportunity to settle the Langstone debt early and save a few million. He stubbornly chose not to.

But when we start next season how will we be better off?
Same division but with tens of millions in debt added.
Yes, one season in which we've been a laughing stock in the Prem.
And we've lost our identity.

2 Prices will have increased massively for season tickets for similar standard football (although I had a price freeze - thanks Mr Ridsdale)
3 Sales are reportedly hugely down in club shop since rebrand
4 Vast majority of home fans reject the red and wear blue to games
5 Most loyal fans ie. those at away, games despise the red, sing about staying blue and want Tan out
6 Ran the club so badly he didn't know how much was being spent on transfers
7 Actually succeeds in making Ridsdale look competent who at least changed our badge back and inadvertently gave us cheap season tickets

Firstly thank you for your valued opinion. In reply I would like to state the following articles by way of reply.
1. Vincent Tan has released many millions of GBP to the Company of which he is also a vast shareholder. This was and is to support the Company and create success.
2. Yes with inflation prices have increased. Much of that inflation is to the position of the Company in it's field of work, ie the Premier status.
3. Sales in the Club stores have increased due to the increased foot flow to stores since reaching the Premier League. Due to the Companies increased purchasing and negotiation position the retail operation has better margin position which see's both operations profitable. It's accepted that sales on certain lines are not as expected but the balance is leveled by way of the increased margins. At the same instance sales are expected to increase on the less current popular lines.
4. It's a customers choice to what they wish to wear to matches. This has no bearing on the business.
5. It's with respect that opinion will always be expressed, although greater success in time will bring opinions associated with success.
6. The Company has not be " run badly " the Company has been salvaged and set a task of becoming self funding within it's own right whilst creating success.
7. Peter played his role which remains in the past, whilst it's felt looking forward if a far more positive stance.
