I think he could in answer to your question.looked very solid,considering it was his debut.any news on medels injury,how long he will be out for?I thought he played better in the first half than he has for a while.missed him second half imo.

Looking forward to seeing him play in the Premier League, I'm not sure about playing as a CDM but I think Ekrim or Mutch could both do the job pretty well.

Eikrem could do it, that's his normal position and I can't agree with others on the forum that he's no better than Whits. He tackles much better and rarely gives the ball away so he's an ideal replacement in my opinion.

Mutch defo couldn't do it. If you study his game a bit he's not a bad tackler but he has no defensive positional sense at all. We'd be exposed many times in games with Mutch playing in a role which relies on a player always concentrating and never going missing and that's not Jordan Mutch.

I agree. Mutch will be wasted in cdm. Plus hes injured.

im just thinking as a back up cala could do a job there. Obviously Eikrem will play there and so he should. He looks talented.
