Who's this nutter?

Sun Feb 16, 2014 2:30 pm

My mate gets searched going into the stadium yesterday, yet this nutter somehow managed to smuggle his bugle in! He was playing it all second half as well. Was funny at first, then it started getting a little annoying!

Nevermind about him, There's an even bigger plonker to the right a bloke with a barnett like that and wearing that red shait

He deserves to get lynched

In the 70s 80s and 90s when we were loosing we use to have a laugh and joke, it wasn't all doom and gloom so what is wrong with them smiling. Although there was always one grumpy bugger i remember in the 90s was it you Ian

Good for him, lets have more bugles and drums and make some noise

Re: Who's this nutter?

Makes an effort and gets slated by morons but if there was no effort made then the same people would moan that our support is shit. how about YOU come up with something for once.
Id like to see the drum come back but not above the canton....actually in with the fans.

I would rathers fans open their mouths and sing, as that generates the best atmosphere. We shouldn't have to rely on instruments to generate an atmosphere, we should be better than that, although the way we have rolled over and accepted the rebrand, I'm not sure about that now. We will be playing goal music next.

The fella is obviously barking on 2 accounts.
1) Wtf has he got on his head?
and 2) He's old enough to know better, trying to create an atmosphere at the football, tut tut. ;)

I wasn't ridiculing him, like I said I thought it was funny at first and it brought a few cheers. I just felt the more he played it, the more it stopped people wanting to sing, because fans thought we could rely on him for the atmosphere all second half. I love the "Barmy Army" trumpet player who follows the England cricket team. You can always rely on him to play his trumpet when there's a quiet break in play to get the crowd going.

After Tan changing many things i am actually surprised he hasn't brought in goal music but i'm relieved that he hasn't!
If you can name a few teams accross Europe that create a great continuous atmosphere without a drum for example then i'm willing to listen.
I can't think of hardly any and i watch a hell of a lot of football.
BUT on that note i'd love for us to be different and create a great atmosphere without a use of a drum. :ayatollah:
