small gaggle of Swansea supporters

Sun Feb 16, 2014 1:52 pm

This is how the commentator just described Swansea away support at Everton.

Surely he meant 'small jerk-off of jacks'

Didn't you know mate, the jacks have been in the premiership so long, that they are bored of going to the same grounds ,you can't make it up,they just won't admit their away support is shit

There is a similar amount as u took to Newcastle

Re: small gaggle of Swansea supporters

I'm afraid, more to the point, their team are far superior to ours yesterday. Against better opposition.

Re: small gaggle of Swansea supporters

Sun Feb 16, 2014 2:55 pm

 what a pathetic turnout for a Sunday game a few hours up the road, poor supported club has to be said.

Re: small gaggle of Swansea supporters

Sun Feb 16, 2014 2:56 pm

They have always had very poor away support, I don't know why a thread is made about it every single week. Look back into the history books, they are just one of those clubs that don't travel very well. Their team turns up a lot of the time which is the only thing that matters really.

Cardiff city fans criticising other clubs support.
When have cardiff ever had good away support, I mean better then ours.

We've always had far superior away support to you and that is going back to the 60s and 70s to now. Come on Paul, you can't argue that. We used to be known for our travelling support in the lower leagues.

Re: small gaggle of Swansea supporters

Sun Feb 16, 2014 3:30 pm

Come on we can hardly talk, we only took 300 to Newcastle. Unfortunately the FA Cup just isn't as attractive as it used to be .

60 , 70 I wouldnt know.
80 on no.
Give me examples?
We took 11k preston 80.took more to u then u ever took to us in the 3.3 draw.5k at least.
Liverpool 8k sheff ute 5 k.bury 6 k.

These are one offs Paul and for big games that meant someone, every club takes that to big games. Bournemouth took almost 10k if you include the cherries in the home end to Tranmere last season. Week in week out ask any fan of any lower league team and they will say Swansea came in two taxis, nothing to be ashamed of it's just the way it is.

Our away support is better in terms of numbers. I will say that your home atmosphere is far far far superior to ours, has been since we both changed stadium.

There has been ups and downs over the years.
We both have had good and bad away support.
I would say yes you on average have had better, but not by the margin many on here seams to think.
I think both our fanbase is very much the same but off course u wont agree.
But u do seam to over hype anything to do with cardiff.

Most prob around 2,000,but we all know how these jacks, like to hype themselves up

Our away support is poor.I'm sorry if that offends the jacks on here but they all know it's the truth. We do travel well for big games that gets the blood pumping but as a rule we are a poorly supported club away from home.I have no problems in admitting this but in the same breath couldn't care less.Cardiff City on the other hand have travelled well this season but it is their first season up here.If they stay up and the jacks on here can be bothered then there will be a good few threads on here next season on how shite your away support is.Neither of us are big clubs and capable of filling away ends week in week out.

Spot on fingers. We can mock each others support all we like. Truth is, neither club has a massive away or even home diehard fan base, and that will never change. :thumbright:

410. That's 110 more than you took to Newcastle, so I think you still have that record!

Fairplay bet that was a cracking day out nice weather and well taken goals to top it off. I once went with a cwmbran jack to watch them down the county in the 80's f*cking shite support.
