He told loads of lies
He wasted silly amounts of money which he claimed was his? (not loan notes)
He changed the badge
He was going to change the kit colour
He took money from the club even though we were on the brink of oblivion
And still wanted millions in a pay off
He interfered with team selections
Where were these anti Ridsdale anti Tan leaders then

A good chairman is someone who decides how best to spend the money the club earns... Not a chairman that writes endless loan notes in the clubs name.
Hammam and Tan are equally as guilty of this. I remember having a discussion with someone who was attempting to tell me that Huw Jenkins was a terrible chairman because he wasn't rich.

Jenkins is a failed businessman while Tan is a billionaire international business magnate.
I would say Jenkins has learn't from his mistakes while Tan is learning.

Both histories are irrelevant in reality.
The business doesnt have to be created, it is already there, the football club. Past non footballing business success or failure is completely irrelevant. The job of builders merchant and football chairman are completely different, as is Facebook shareholder and convenience store owners.
The job if chairman is to make the best footballing decisions, his bank balance should be irrelevant, in fact it shouldn't even come into it. Huw Jenkins probably has one of the greatest track records for "good decisions" in football.
The minute the chairman starts writing cheques that THE CLUB cannot afford is the minute alarm bells should start ringing. The worry for you guys is that these "chairmen" that write cheques the club cant afford see, to be the ones most desired meaning the Tans and Hammams are the start of a long line of idiot chairmen.

The difference is Tan doesn't want an inner circle like Sam did.. If Tan starts inviting fans to high profile events etc you can bet they would be clambering for an invite..
