Playing As A TEAM

Sat Feb 15, 2014 10:42 pm

There is no doubt that the team may be lacking confidence in the middle of a relegation battle but I don't think it helps in chopping and changing the team each week. We are running out of time. Watching recent games, the impression I have is that we are not playing as a team. Players do not know what the player with the ball is likely to do or predict their run.

I hope that OGS can pick his 11 and stick with it for a few games (barring return from injuries/suspension, etc)so that we gel and play as begin to play as a team. Since the January transfer window and the new players coming, in it seems that OGS does not know what his best team is and there have been too many changes.

Would like to see the following team v Hull:

Marshall

Fabio Caulker Cala Taylor

Noone Medel Mutch (Daehli if not fit) Zaha

Campbell Jones

Mad news if that is the case. We have no one who can fill that role.

Cowie came on today but I don't see him as a replacement in that role. Gunnarsson is just not up to Premiership standard.

Without Medel sitting in front of the defence I can only see us conceding more goals.
