Awful again today, at fault for their first goal

Re: KTC

Another ghost of Malky that came here on a wedge and haven't performed.

See also Odemwingie, Cornelius and Gary Medel.

Going backwards at a serious rate of knots

Re: KTC

He is utter shift wish he was never signed has cost us so many goals this season

Re: KTC

Sat Feb 15, 2014 7:12 pm

We have a lot of very average/poor right backs.

Gary medel ??

He Constantly puts in very good performances and when he's not in the team or taken off we are abysmal . Today for instance .

Medel is absolute quality at the job he does for the team , just because he gets on with it quietly and isn't a flair player doing stopovers people think he's not performing .

Absolutely brilliant signing and the best player at this club by a mile

Gary Medel, or Mr Sideways as he should be known, is an extremely average player.

Every time he has the ball he slows down play. His first option is always to look sideways or backwards.

As a defensive midfielder you only have to look at our "goals against" column to see that it's difficult to argue that he's been in any way successful at "protecting" our back four this season.

And that's supposed to be his job.

Great reader of the game but like the rest of the team has regressed as the season has gone on.

It's not an individual criticism but he and Caulks have suffered.

Have to say, I lambasted him from my position near the front of the Ninian :(

Not too bad a defender, but responsible for so many wasted attacks over so many games

Needs to learn to make a decision rather than run up a blind alley, stop and look for an unlikely escape route :?

Turning attack after attack into defence far too easily

Super Kev would be at better option, but KTC wasn't the only poor decision maker out there today and several seemed to by=pass Noone when he was screaming out for the ball :(

Having said that, liked the 'promise' shown by Daehli and thought Cowie did well when he came on; at least he looked for the ball and tried to create things

Re: KTC

To be honest, I'd play Kev before KTC. Kev has never let us down, knows his limitations, always gives 100%, and understands the English game.

Re: KTC

Wolff had a chance to head the ball clear but wimped out. That's who I blame for the first goal.

Re: KTC

Sat Feb 15, 2014 9:24 pm

Most of our full backs are not up to scratch but KTC is by far the worst we have. I'm struggling to say anything positive about his last few performances.

Re: KTC

Our best fullback for some reason is on loan at Sheff Utd :o :(

 spot-on Tom, any top player can look ordinary at times when he is constantly brought down to that level by others

Re: KTC

KTC is a liability, disappointed Ole brought cowie on we just had nothing going forward as soon as he came on, he offers nothing to a game league 1 player at best.

You think he is justifying his massive price tag? Really? I am a big fan of players that get on with their jobs quietly, Gareth Barry is an exceptional player that doesn't get the plaudits.

Iv'e watched Gary closely and although he was fantastic at the beginning of the season is performances have been awful recently, he's unfit to boot. You see his name and his nationality and then immediately think he is the best thing since sliced bread, in fact he isn't.

Spot on. His stats compared to other players in his position are not to good either, a decent player but way overpriced. I think Huddlestone could of done a job for us, has good long range passing to and he was just 5 mil

Re: KTC

Our full backs are so bad it is unbelievable that we've signed 3 and none of them are good enough to start in the Prem.

Our only decent full back is John and he is naturally a winger.

We'd be better off with KFC

Re: KTC

KTC has gone downhill after a few promising performances at the start of the season. Defensively poor and his attacking play has been poor of late. I agree he was at fault for the 1st goal and not for the first time this season.
