Difference being is we will be a mid table championship next season with our OWN stadium, and with a real manager.

You will be a mid table championship side with a rented stadium, and a player as ur manager. I would say whos gonna pay ur rent with all those empty seats as well, but we all know Huw will just not pay the rent. :ayatollah:

I suppose it's the same as owning your own house.
It's on the books as an asset.

But you have to have mortgage to pay for it. Or you pay cash in which case you lose interest on the capital. Or you rent. In which case you don't have a mortgage and neither do you lose a big chunk of capital. Makes sound economic sense to me.

It is not mortgaged it is ours.
Not every property loses interest on capital either. :laughing6:
So, in your opinion, everyone in rented property in the UK are better off?

That's not what I said. If you pay cash for something, as well as losing the capital you've spent, you also lose the interest you would have received on the capital had you left it in the bank. The interest on the capital would go a long way towards paying the rent. You can't compare the pros and cons of renting commercial property to renting residential property as they are two different animals
