That is very sad, i just checked google earth and a very large area below a smaller lake looks compleley dry. :(

No it's not. WPD have sold it and talks are underway with the steel company that bought it to re-fill it.

I was going to say, heard the other day that the people have won! Great news. A lot of hard and clever work has gone into the fight against WPD and it's a fantastic victory for morality and sense. :ayatollah:

I agree, why wipe out a city beauty spot and replace with concrete. Although if it were Ely racecourse nobody would give a f**k
