Are our new signings good enough ?

Wed Feb 12, 2014 8:15 pm

Simple answer NO!! Zaha is skillfull but so raw its untrue. Nice touches but then tries to much and ends up losing the ball the majority of the time. And the Wolf is no better than whitts.
Got to say Turner was class last night but I bet he wont hit those heights again.

I think Ole done his best considering it was Jan which is known as a hard time to sign quality. Malky Mackay really fukt us over with the shower of shit he put together, he shouldn't be allowed to manage ever again :ole:

I like the look of Daehli but don't think he's good enough just yet. Don't rate Eikrem at all, Jones is lazy and lacks ability. Fabiola is alright going forward but awful at the back

I think Wolf looks decent, very decent.

I don't think the others were brought in to make an just any impact, more to fill the gaps Malky left and doing to cheaply.

Jones isn't the best but neither was odemwingy.

No doubt at all Malky is to blame for the huge gaps in this squad.

I think Daehli came on when we were running out of steam. I would play him for 90 minutes against Wigan. at some stage if he starts with Campbell and jones I would try Berget with Campbell just to see if it becomes an option in future games.

So Wolff has played what, 130 minutes of Premier football? His first set piece ever for Cardiff, against Man City away, was a goal (4-2) - meanwhile, Whitts haven't created anything off a set piece for weeks of games worth of starts. Against Villa, Wolff came on for Mutch and immediately struck 3 killer passes, made some crucial interceptions, and overall looked better than Mutch.

Daft! Eikrem has more talent in his left shoelace than Whitts does in his entire body!

Ekirem looks good to me so far.fabio is a poor defender worse than his brother and he's shit. Kenwyne is a player who is going to frustrate a lot of fans I think he'll get us some goals but will be really inconsistent. As for the rest chuck some of them in from the start against Wigan they need game time especially Zaha

Agree. Ekrim was very good. Better than whits has been all season imo.

Given that Eikrem (and the other Norwegians) has come over here in their close season and needs time to adjust, I think hes done pretty well. Hes an awful lot better than Whittingham. Principally for four reasons:
1. Better passing ability. Looks to make killer passes through to the forwardline. When they gel together I think this will pay off for us

2. Much more positive presence and more attack minded
3. Better tackler
4. Allows Medel to play his own game by him not having to cover and carry Whittingham

No..... Not the Norwegians, but these were all bought for next years championship if we went down

Daehli- looks skillful but whats his position

Eikrem - All ifs and buts...... He simply looked adequate on Tuesday as he was against Bolton. No Better than Cowie. I look for the killer pass, but if I can't execute its simply wasted....That was Eikrem's contribution. He put a low on confidence KTC is a spot of bother once or twice, whereas Whitts would have laid it off to someone else.

Beret- ???

Jones - I think he is OK but knackered after 60mins. Lets face it odemwhingie wasn't cutting the mustard with us.....

As much as Kenwyne is not the answer to our prayers. I still think we had the better part of the deal with stoke

All should be able to contribute in the championship.

You obviously do not know how much talent whitts has.

I've said he needs to be dropped but its not because he has no talent. It's because he is no where near as good as he should be playing.

Daehli and Eikrem are class, Eikrem needs to work on his defence though.
