' CRAIG BELLAMY ? '

Craig Bellamy is adored by many and disliked by many.

Should he be respected?

Should he be adored ?

Does he deserves to be disliked?

Does he bring bad publicity to himself?

The big question

WOULD YOU SIGN BELLAMY FOR ANOTHER SEASON?

hes very passionate and was a very good footballer but has beeen a clown at every club he has been at so hes not a role model

Thats what makes Bellamy though - he still has lots to offer , would rather have him in my side than not

So the guy goes public and criticises the fans then a week later gets himself banned.

Idiot comes to mind.

As long as he plays for Cardiff City fc I will stand by him, yes he has been a silly chap but once we start turning on our own what's the point of supporting Cardiff

I quite like him, some people find his honesty hard to digest thought.

Personally I wouldnt sign him on for another season but he has looked sharpe lately.

May be or was a good footballer but personal opinion is the guys a c**t! Championship dinner last year he was a total knob, whinging about how much of a pay cut he had to take to come here, refusing autographs for us etc , poking Luca in the chest lol

There's honesty and there's just being a cnut.

Bellamy's view on the world is a world away from most people's.

I was at the dinner i remember him saying he didn't mind the pay cut to try to help Cardiff get into the prem, always two sides to a story

The truth is, WHEN he plays, he's a decent Championship player at best. Whether we sign him for another season should depend on what league we are playing in. In the Premier League, no way, in the Championship, yes, with another one of those pay cuts he doesn't mind taking for the club he loves....

After watching the game lastnight i feel we don't need him or his horrible attitude . He's bossy , disruptive and he blames others for his mistakes . I wouldn't care if he doesn't play another game for us..

Yes. Keep him, and try to get him more involved in the coaching side of things. I'm pretty sure he'll make a decent manager one day.

to be honest the fans who booed whitts are wankers so hes right there..

also at the start of the season i would of said no i don't want him for another year but to be honest hes been playing quite well recently and one of our better players so i wouldn't mind him here for another year

You can divide Bellamy in two - Bellamy the footballer and Bellamy the man.

As a man he's shown himself to be a moron, a bully and a perpetual sufferer of small-man syndrome. He's not what most would describe as a 'nice' guy. The truth is he only came to Cardiff to save his marriage and failed at that.

Do I care about that? Not at all.

On the pitch is what matters, and that's where he's paid to perform. His passion is undeniable and when he's up for he's worth having in any side in my view. The Swansea game proved he's still prone to moments of idiocy but that's hardly surprising. He is Craig Bellamy after all. That said, I admire his honesty in interviews (I agreed with his comments regarding Whitts' substitution) and would be glad to see him here for another season.

Just not as a manager

No. I hope he does the right thing and retires if we're relegated. If we stay up I still want him gone, let him become a coach for someone(not us)

i love honesty..but hate hypocrites................and if anyone is the king of hypocrites its Mr Bellamy.
was once a great player, but that doesnt give him the moral high ground.

[quote="Forever Blue"]Craig Bellamy is adored by many and disliked by many.

Should he be respected?

As a player YES, but as a person I think he has two completely different sides; his charity (to be admired) and his arrogance (not good, but makes him the player he is)

Should he be adored ?

Hmmm, I think 'admired' (as a player of outstanding ability) would be a better term

Does he deserve to be disliked?

Not really. Craig is as individual as any one of us and has, in the main, done well for Cardiff City FC and that is what should really count in his public life

Does he bring bad publicity to himself?

Absolutely. Craig can be spontaneous and strong-minded. Light the blue touchpaper and stand well clear!

The big question

WOULD YOU SIGN BELLAMY FOR ANOTHER SEASON?

Absolutely. A great person to have in the dressing room, on the training ground and (when fit) on the pitch. Can also see a future 'coaching' role at the club and may be a good mentor for young players to start with

in direct answer to the question............it has to be NO,
i was so excited when he first signed, was told at the time by some1 who played lots of pro games with him,be careful what you wish for, for as good as he is, disruption follows him around like a bad smell.

god only knows whats gone on behind the scenes, but during his 1st spell ,there was this HUGE thing about only playing one game a week, and it was noticeable that his pre game warm ups were different to the rest of the team....????????

thats changed...

this time around there were all those rumours regarding him not wanting to play under Malky........and last week the abuse to our own fans.. i can not think of a similar incident involving one of our players..

time to go Craig

I feel the same and that's what gets to me when fans turn on their own

No brainer

Extend his contract and get him involved in coaching :ayatollah:

I'm not sure. He got involved in some coaching for the Swansea match, and look where that left us

I'm honest and shoot from the hip just like Bellamy. He's a loose cannon and a fooking liability but he can be amazing on his day. Sadly those days are now few and far between so on balance I would say keep the little kent in the stands for the rest of the season where he can do no more damage and get rid in the summer. Thanks for the memories yer little twaat :laughing6:

You get to the stadium and see the opposition team. You hear a name like Bellamy. You shit yourself. Good player and should be respected IMHO but if you dont then dont say awt and there's no problem.

Re: ' CRAIG BELLAMY ? '

Wed Feb 12, 2014 6:54 pm

i totally agreed with his reaction to the fans, every shift he gives 100%, and sometimes fans dont notice because no-one else puts it in, so certain little runs, and movement gets missed and no-one then appriciates what he does....you know when someone is having a bad game or being lazy he'll be onto them right from the off. yes i'd signed him again

Re: ' CRAIG BELLAMY ? '

Wed Feb 12, 2014 6:55 pm

Yes he deserves respect for the games he played for wales and city where he always gave his all.
He is like he is and that has helped his career and hindered it.
The way he sometimes acts is not as bad as some pro footballers at the top who have had crazy wages for years and act like cocks most of the time.
If he wants a new contract for another year.....give him one at the going rate.

If the manager thinks he's fit enough. Big YES.
