Members are advised that they should be very careful when purchasing 'unwanted' match tickets and/or other items on this Forum, as it has come to our attention that there have recently been incidents where tickets/goods are being advertised "For Sale", money is being transferred, but the tickets/goods are failing to arrive, therefore leaving the unsuspecting buyer(s) out of pocket and in the lurch (polite version)
A sample 'MO' is where someone regularly advertises a pair of tickets for sale, or an item of clothing/electrical items, etc. with a plausible reason for sale. However, when contacted, they decline the opportunity to 'meet up' to exchange tickets/items for cash, preferring that money to be transferred to an account with an assurance that the tickets/goods will be posted immediately...only they don't arrive (despite promises to the contrary) and no refund of monies is offered or given
It is unfortunate that a tiny minority (as always) are spoiling it for the honest majority, but we strongly advise members to double-check the legitimacy of tickets/items offered "For Sale" (particularly where money transfers are requested) as we cannot guarantee their authenticity or accept any responsibility
