PLENTY OF TIME YET!

Tue Feb 11, 2014 10:57 pm

Considering the recent hard run of games against teams like arsenal man city man utd etc. Combined with a change of manager and new style of play to think were 1 win away from being out of relegation and 2 wins from mid table!

Were definitely still in this a few more good results and the confidence will build!

Cmon bluebirds!!!

I second this!

The doom and gloom merchants are in force on here, nice to see a bit of confidence.

Your 100% right we can still do it, its all in our own hands and everything to play for

Ole has to now stick to the same team as you say, no more swopping and changing, 18 players he has used so far, brought 7 new players in, surely after 8 games in charge Ole can finally see who is first 11 should be. Last night we played our best football so far under him, but only for 40 minutes.

Time for no more messing about and lets go for the wins

We need an element of luck, we could have been 2 up at half time had the ball not hit the woodwork / Zaha been offside. I saw plenty in the first half to convince us that we can and will stay up. We made one of the best teams on the road look average for long spells.

Its not doom and gloom merchants - it is realists

Yes its great to be confident and positive but the harsh reality is that we are likely to go down especually after dropping points yesterday

Below is the reality of our situation with the likely results and final points..

Cardiff V Hull - 1pt
Tottenham V Cardiff - 0pts
Cardiff V Fulham - 3pts
Everton V Cardiff - 0pts
Cardiff V Liverpool - 0pts
West Brom V Cardiff - 0pts
Cardiff V Crystal Palace - 3pts
Southampton V Cardiff - 0pts
Cardiff V Stoke - 1pt
Sunderland V Cardiff - 1pt
Newcastle V Cardiff - 0pts
Cardiff V Chelsea - 0pts

Now based on our seasons performances, common sense and a non bias vew we are likely to get around 9 points from our last 12 games which will leave us on roughly 31 points for the season.

Second half of the season we have dropped vital points at home against West Ham & Villa (5pts) and Swansea (1pt) which is going to have a huge impact on our season campaign - not to mention that many bottom table sides are starting to get results (West Ham and Crystal Palace especually)

It is going to be a HUGE effort to stay up and although I will be there cheering the team on and supporting the City - I expect we will be relegated this season

West Brom V Cardiff - 1pts

Sunderland V Cardiff - 1pt

total 17 points leaving us with 38 points, we will probably just go down about 4 points short am afraid, and that will be a real gutter to be so close :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:
