One of our best performances in the first half. We attacked and with 2 wingers and with 2 upfront we caused problems. The centre forward was therefore given good service but looked a bit slow and sometimes chose the wrong option. In the second half when we dropped back and he was anonomous. Dare I say it would Cornelius have done any worse than Jones? (Still think we should have loaned him out). In his few appearances he never had much service and we played a far les attacking
BUT Thats past history now and hopefully with more games Jones will be sharper... But I'm not holding my breathe!

Kenwyn Jones put in a very poor shift tonight.

I thought Jones won pretty much every header when the ball was played long to him. He did a lot of off the ball running in the first half, chasing the keeper down numerous times to put him under pressure. In the second half he wasn't lazy, he just tired as he isn't match fit. The same fans slating Jones are probably the same fans slating Zaha tonight as well. The pair of them have only had a 2 day rest after the Swansea game, neither of them have played much football before signing for us and they are both short of match fitness.
