Really stupid and pointless thing to do for someone who is so vocal when criticising others.

I thought he was right to critisise the fans after booing whitts

But what he did on Saturday is inexcusable for a professional player - he gets paid to play football and we pay to watch it

Overall he is well in the wrong

really?..........f*cking wankers sssshhhh..................and thats right from an overpaid player......

and the TV interview was about an hour and a half after the substitution, so it wasnt heat of the moment.........he is no role model, conducts himself poorly, has no right to use obscene language to people he can only aspire to being as good as..........

An unnecessary 3 match ban at the most crucial stage of our clubs history. How unprofessional, he's let everyone down but he will still be earning a minimum of 60k over the next 2 weeks from us "disrespectful fans" when these 3 games will be played (I'm assuming he's on 30k a week?). I doubt us fans who pay his wages will get an apology mind!

Interesting you should say that. A mate I grew up and went to college with now works at the FAW. He used that exact same sentence when telling me about his influence on the Welsh team, especially the younger ones. All used to tread on egg shells around him even in training.

He once said that they were training and he used to go mental if they messed up a simple game of keep ups, they hated him. Also under Toshack he was basically the manager, he would take the team talks while Tosh stood behind just nodding and was generally a negative influence on the dressing room as he was so aggressive.

On the flip side, he also told me that Robbie Savage was one of the best players to have around contrary to popular belief. him and Bellamy clashed often as Savage would be great with the youth while Bellamy wouldn't tolerate anything, he reckons its one of the reasons Savage didn't play for Wales again.

Bellamy gets in the ear of the manager, wouldn't be surprised if he's trying it with Ole.

Good player - knob of a personality who thinks his shit don't smell.

It's a good Job the ref didn't see his punch on Saturday as we'd have been really chasing shadows at 11 v 10 and would've been looking at a right old going over - 3-0 was bad enough

His pay hasn't really got anything to do with it - he is a Cardiff City Player and he was angry with the fans for booing his team mate off - which is understandable and I think justified as well - although I agree swearing at the crowd isn't a classy thing to do.

I'm not sure about you but when i'm angry about something, it takes me a few hours to get over it at least - so the interview could have been straight after whitts was sent off or five hours afterwards - we would have got the same response from Bellamy as he was obviously pissed off.

As I said though - it was unprofessional and stupid to knock De Guzman on the back of the head and he will have to be held accountable for that

At the time I wasn't happy with the booing but you have to say the change was made and we won the game. That's a positive.

Mr Bellamy, because he still has the temper of a teenager, could no miss 3 games that were there for winning. That's a negative.

So, who has affected our potential to stay up. Mr Bellamy feel free to answer.

Bluebirds likely to miss Bellamy in tonight's crunch v Villa
Section Sport | Published on 11 Feb 2014

Cardiff City’s Craig Bellamy looks likely to to miss the next two Premier League games - including tonight’s home game with Aston Villa - after being found guilty of violent conduct.

Bellamy appeared to strike Swansea midfielder Jonathan de Guzman from behind during Saturday’s south Wales derby defeat. He has until 6pm tonight to appeal against the charge which came as a complete shock to Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who said, “They ran into each other.”

A three man panel of former referees reviewed footage on Monday February before informing the club of the decision. Today the club were reviewing the matter ahead of the 6pm deadline.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær insisted that his players are ready to bounce back quickly tonight from the weekend’s disappointing derby defeat.

“We’ve watched the game back,” the boss said of Saturday’s defeat at the Liberty Stadium. “We didn’t start well, but after Craig (Bellamy) put that cross in for Kenwyne (Jones) we got more into it.

"We had some great chances, although the second half was disappointing. We need to bounce back now.

“We are conceding too many goals – we can’t keep conceding two goals a game and expect to score three, so that is something we must address. We’re striving for continuous improvement, and we saw signs of that away from home against City and United. Swansea was a step back in terms of both the result and performance, but we have to come back and start again.

“There is obvious pressure, but the lads can certainly cope with that. They've reacted well to Saturday in training. The attitude is good, and the energy in training is very positive. They’ve reacted the right way after a bad defeat; you can’t feel sorry for yourself in the Premier League - the players are ready for Villa.

“We’ll probably need another 17 or 18 points to stay up, but it's never been so tight in the bottom half. We’ve got two home games next, and we’ve targeted them to get some points.”

But Bellers its not ok to boo a player but its ok to elbow a player from behind. Or even hit one with a golf club Hmmmmmm

There was a bit of both, as far as Bells goes maybe he was trying to get a reaction from our away support because it was piss poor
